Our Superior room was modern, the furniture was new and the bed was very comfortable. We were on the 12th floor and the view of Timisoara was spectacular! Because of the great weather, we were able to use the outdoor swimming pool which was great, but we used the interior spa & pool more often. We enjoyed the swiming pool and the jacuzzi. Great place to overnight while passing through. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend. The pool area was a bit small and crowded but I didn't stay there to swim so it didn't affect me. Restaurant and bar on site. Good food. Supermarket across the street. The city is being reborn from inside out. Many old buildings have been restored to their original glory. Many are under restoration projects. Same for historical buildings, churches and cultural landmarks. You can see, feel and touch history that goes back over 2,000 years... and feel safe and welcomed. It was my first time visiting Timișoara, and I really enjoyed the city centre — perhaps the leaders in Bucharest could take some inspiration. The streets I walked along had plenty of green spaces and beautiful houses, but unfortunately, many parks seem neglected. I wanted to visit the Hunyad Museum, but it is permanently closed; it would help to mention the reason in its description. The Museum of the Communist Consumer was not quite what I expected — perhaps because it’s a private initiative — but it deserves more attention, as I saw tourists coming specifically for it. The Iron Bridge is also just a point on the tourist map, yet it’s in disrepair and unkempt.
