The location of the hotel was very convenient for us, as we were driving from Bulgaria through Romania and wanted to have a stop around Timisoara. Friends had told us that there is a great aquapark and spa in Timisoara, so we looked it up. We decided not to stay at the Aquapark, instead we found Spa&Ice resort hotel which is at the outskirts of Timisoara, and that is what we needed. We also liked the room, we were upgraded to an apartment, since there was an issue with our room. The apartment was excellent, with all the corresponding amenities for a five-star accommodation, overlooking the swimming pool area! The spa and wellness facilities are great! Indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, saunas, Salina, massages, relax area, just everything is great. Food is delicious and can be consumed either at the pool cafe, or in the restaurant inside. Breakfast is delicious, and one should see the hall! So elegantly furnished! The selection for breakfast is ample, with freshly baked bread, three varieties of eggs dishes, sausages, cheeses, fruit and veggies, etc etc, and the cappuccino was perfect, exactly the way I like it :) Staff are very friendly and helpful! Stayed in Timisoara twice. It's a very beautiful city. It's got such a nightlife vibe, 11 PM and the main square is full of people having fun. On my 2nd stay here there was a festival and there was a concert in the Liberty Square, with tons of people, beer, fast food places etc. Architecturally also, the city is very nice. Great place to overnight while passing through. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend. The pool area was a bit small and crowded but I didn't stay there to swim so it didn't affect me. Restaurant and bar on site. Good food. Supermarket across the street. It is a very nice place to stay in and sleep. It is quiet, you have a store full of fresh products with Profi City, restaurants with delicious food and very little traffic going round so it is a quiet place. The city is being reborn from inside out.
The city is being reborn from inside out. Many old buildings have been restored to their original glory. Many are under restoration projects. Same for historical buildings, churches and cultural landmarks. You can see, feel and touch history that goes back over 2,000 years... and feel safe and welcomed.
