The hotel really exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, it is in the center of the city. In addition to the breakfast and dinner which were included in the price, we had FIKA, which was a lovely surprise - in period 15:00-17:00 we could have coffee or tea and cakes. Our room (for 3 people) was spacious, with comfortable beds. There was a kettle, free coffee, milk, tea, and some chocolate in the room. This was the only hotel I had been in that offered hair conditioner and body milk in the bathroom (in addition to shower gel and shampoo). The staff was very kind and helpful.

We booked last minute (on the day of arrival) and arrived quite late, but the self check-in was excellent and we had no issue in finding the place and accessing our room. The room is very clean and we had an excellent breakfast.

    Vasteras is a midsize town on the shore of what to me seemed like large lake, later I realised it was see deep in the middle of Sweden with beautiful islands, deep forests around. The city center is small but nice.

    Its a little village with one restaurant which did an improved version of normal Swedish food, were very happy with that. Its a beautiful little village on the shores of a lake so you can take your time strolling around. The hostell had a lovely garden so you could relax there
