We liked everything about this hotel. I wouldn’t know where to start. Definitely the people worth all the praising, an amazing broadminded team, offering very naturally all the help you need, they give a peaceful vibe to the place, congratulations to everybody!     The Vestlia resort has exceeded our expectations. It has an excellent location just next to the Geilo main ski slopes, that offer great opportunity to ski directly from the hotel. The hotel itself is really great, the interior brings you back in 80s and 90s and have a charm of fused modern style with the antique. The staff was amazingly friendly! For family with the kids, you have so many activities to do (swimming pool, bowling, activity room, cinema) which make your stay so much fun. The restaurant was also nice and breakfast was great. We had such a great holiday! Manythanks!

    If you are looking for a place to sleep and take a shower with a great location, i definitely recommend it. The bed was really comfortable. You even have a desk with a chair. The bathroom was with a good size. The room was warm. The location is great! The most interesting places in Oslo are on a walking distance. If you want to go somewhere far away, there are stops for the bus and trains on a few minutes walking distance. There is also a train stop just infront of the hotel.

    All the stuff from bar tender to chef and all the crew was amazing. Very hospitable people and smiles and assist you all the time. So helpful and very kind. Spa and the woman who work there was amazing and sweet. The food was fantastic . Place is peaceful and safe. The boat driver always smiling and talking to us. They speak english as well. The hotel ... No words can explain. Definitely will come back again. 500% love the place and all the people who works there.

    Could not rate this hotel and spa highly enough, value for money? More than! Everything from check in to (free late) check out was outstanding and the staff were exceptional with me and my family. Our room was upgraded for free and the breakfast was excellent. Special mention to Elizabeth for the outdoor sauna ritual and fjord swimming in the afternoon, a truly unforgettable experience.

    Only a day and a half stay in Oslo and a longer stay would have been better as there is a lot to see. Easy to get around the city and plenty of excellent cafe's and restaurants. People are very friendly and overall a very pleasant place to visit, will try and make a further visit in the future for a longer stay.

    Their version of TSA needs to get their staff aligned. We clarified before security that we could take ice cubes in our water bottles (no liquid) and for whatever reason we went though two different security lines and my wife and kids had no issue with the ice in their bottles but on my own side they said I couldn’t have it, and I explained it’s ice and the guy goes “it’s still water”…. Also, good luck finding the water fountains!

    Geilo is a ski town.

    Geilo is a ski town. Skiing in Norway is more affordable than the United States and less crowded. Unlike many ski towns that I have been in, Geilo was pretty dead once the slopes were closed. There is no public transit within the city limits. Taxis are infrequent and expensive. If you stay for a few days, a car is recommended. We took the bus from Oslo to Geilo and the train from Geilo to Bergen. It is spectacularly beautiful and the young people working at the ski resorts were very cool. There is a nice international vibe.

    Lillestrom is fundamentally an uninteresting location from a tourist's perspective. Probably quite comfortable for local residents. There is little to do or see for tourists. If you require accommodation close to the conference centre, then this is a good alternative to the expensive hotel accommodation

    This was my first time in Fredrikstad and my stay was for business travel. The area is friendly, has modern charm, and had plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. I hope to return again and stay longer on a personal schedule with my wife to enjoy more of the area.

    Spiralen is a must, even if you need a taxi - great views from the top after a drive through a feat of engineering. Walks along the river are very pleasant and a couple of museums are worth visiting, especially on Saturday when they are free entry ! Excellent transport links to other parts of South East Norway and Oslo

    The hotel is good, we enjoyed the breakfast and the location of the hotel. However, we left with a"not coming back here". Our departure was early morning and we reached out to the reception for info about the arrival time of the bus to the airport, or if we could have coffee both questions were denied affirmatively as if we were leaving a federal office not a hotel! So the statement above is not true! you can't grab a coffee whenever you want!!!

    Oslo is full of wonderful historical building buildings like the Royal Palace, City Hall, the parliament buildings, as well as a great modern art museum. The architecture is exceptional. The city is clean and lively without being overwhelming. The Vigeland sculpture park and garden is also definitely worth a visit.

    Ok you didn't handle the google payments.

    Ok you didn't handle the google payments. So we did the return booking which was made to booking.com. Did you do it or did booking do it. And following the comments of booking is that you are handling the page on booking.com you self. So why is it stored there. In this case I have paid 2 times the transaction costs of almost 10 euro's to transfer Eiro to NOK. Three question. How is it possible that the google pay transaction is on the page. And confirmed with a payment of the bank. Who did the return booking. Because the hotel is saying we didn't do a return booking. And booking is saying the financial transactions is totally in hand off the hotel. And now I have paid for nothing twice the transaction costs. Who is responsible for the site of the hotel on booking.com Added a screenshot of the bookings site. Added a screenshot of both transactions in the banking app. Added a Screenshot of the payment. Added a screenshot of the return booking.
