The breakfast was delicious, actually more than we could eat, she insisted to make some sandwiches with the leftovers and take them with us on the trails. Overall it was a great experience and we're looking forward to seeing her again.

United Kingdom- We liked everything about the guesthouse and the room. We used it as a base for visiting Logar Valley but also driving the scenic route nearby.
- Sonja was extremely helpful and kind, such a great host.
- Super tasty breakfast with locally produced break, honey and jam.
- Clean, comfortable room in a location surrounded by mountains. Take the time to explore the area, even on foot there is a river 5' away for a nice stroll along its bank.

The apartment is perfect! Completely new and modern with all the equipments you need and a lovely terrace.

The house is in a perfect location, there's no traffic, there's almost no tourism around, no crowds, no noise. We wanted to relax and disconnect from the everydays and the pressure of the ever-flowing news and information, and we could exactly do that here - no cell phone reception, no internet, just nature, birdsong and fresh air. The apartment itself is very pretty, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all that is needed for simple cooking. The views from the windows are lovely. The breakfast she prepares every morning is delicious with meat from their own farm. We also loved the cakes. There is a big garden in front of the house near the river where you can sit very nicely, there are a lot of things for kids to play with as well. The room was cute and cosy and very clean. They treated us like kings. Everything we asked (instructions for mountaineering, hiking and attractions) was explained exceptionally from them. Breakfast was delicious! An absolute must. An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley.
Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.Guest review byElaineUnited States
