Hotel located just at the sea. I’m think it’s the best hotel for the sea holiday in whole Portoroz-Piran area. All other hotels are at least across the road, but this one is straight at the sea. If you take sea view room you won’t regret. View is really great and cost it’s money for sure. Absolutely stunning spa zone with many pools of different size, shape and purpose. Few big pools for swimming and one small for toddlers, separate pool with waterslides are real gem for kids. Breakfasts was good, big choice and all was tasty. The breakfast was a real spread with much choice from fruits, cereals, an array of continental cheeses, meats, choices of hot food from cooked "English" to porriges, yogurts, salads, baked goods including cakes, croissants, etc. The room met with expectations and included a TV. The salt pools were exactly what I needed after a 12 h day! The hotel, on the promenade, was part of chain, so that if one pool closed for cleaning, others were available. Clean, rooms just big enough for two (I was traveling with my mother). We had twin beds. Beautiful view of the bay, salt pans and hills of Strunjan. Fine breakfast - they alternate fried and scrambled eggs and have sparkling wine. Lots of fruit and vegetables. Parking convenient at the hotel or in the garage. Lovely little coastal town with plenty of history and and well mapped walking trail. to wonder around, although parking is not free anywhere near the centre , which we hate, hate paying for parking and worrying about the time we need, time we have etc! Divača is a quiet town/village on the railwy line between Ljubljana and Koper. It is very close to both Lipica and to skočjanske Jame. These caves are my favourites in Slovenia, although not to be visited if you have a problem walking.. The park surrounding the caves is very beautiful too. Divača itself is quiet, but has a Cinema museum, which is popular with those interested in early silent films. There area few trains three each day, and also a bus service during the week. Not at the weekend, however, as I found to my cost on another occasion when I drove a friend's car home for her - and then found there were no buses on Saturdays by which to travel back to the coast!, and the next train would have kept me late for my meeting. Luckily, there were others around to heading the same way. While Skočjam and Lipica are open all year, there are also smaller caves in the area which are open only in the tourist season. To drive there from the coast takes about 30 minutes, and about the same driving time will take you to Postojna and the more famous caves there, or to Predjamskigrad, an amazing Castle , most of which is inside the mountain, hence its name - the castle in front of the cave.Guest review byAnnSlovenia - 10

The house with the two apartments is simply great - there is absolutely everything you need, its spaceous, super clean, very well equipped, the AC works very well as well as wifi.
