A Slice of Paradise! I had an incredible experience! The people were warm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with others. The beach is beautiful, providing the perfect spot to relax. We stayed for 3 nights, Mr Ping was awesome with free transfer to hotel both ways, and had motorbikes for hire too! Great pool, and loved the cats visiting whenever we sat on the terrace. Location was really good, only a couple of mins from the main road thru Ban Tai area, plenty of options to eat out, we chose the fairly new Night Market on our last night and had awesome food, I can highly recommend the Lasagne from Monna Lisa 😀 The only thing that I would add to the room is glasses for drinking and another bowl as there was only one, but that's nothing really, all good 👍

Tiki Beach is so fun!! Such great vibe here, I really enjoy the atmosphere around the bar, all the staff so friendly, everyday there are different activities organized by the hostel, we went to the free sunset tour in koh Phangan, highly recommened!! If i did not go with the whole group from our hostel and great local guide Johnny from the bar, I would definitely not be able to go across the island by myself to see the sunset on top of the hill!! The route is so beautiful and the whole free tour was so worth it!! Kill pool night, live music, BBQ buffet, the seaside view, the drinks, everything is just perfect here, i recommend this place to everyone! Really had a great time here!

Happy with my choice. Quiet place. No music by the pool. No clubs around to hear all night long (unlike Haad Yao, for example). Nice pool, nice beach, nice restaurant. Daily free water. Very nice rooms.

We loved our stay at Golden Hill! The staff is incredible. They are kind, caring and attentive when we need a service. The hotel restaurant has a magnificent view and delicious dishes (You must try the Gaspacho!!). The hotel swimming pool, located below the restaurant, also boasts a breathtaking view; the perfect place to watch the sunset. The hotel also offers room service and a fast, reliable cab service. We had a fabulous week in Panviman - every member of staff gave us an extraordinary service and were always so kind, cheerful and professional. A special thanks to Nick who took care of us every morning at breakfast. The view from our room was out of this world and we enjoyed the food and cocktails in the bar. We'd highly recommend the speedboat transfer as our arrival was effortless and enjoyable in comparison to our return journey by ferry.

The owner is a really lovely man and airways did anything he could to ensure you were comfortable and happy. The food is insane. All vegan (I am not vegan, but I'm a huge foodie, and this cookery was next level). The view.....unbelievable The party on Saturdays was really good, cutting edge music and really energetic. Not the nicest part of island.

Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

Amazing place on the island.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

Aside from the turquoise water, there is a reef just a few yards from the shore where you can snorkel and see beautiful fish, big clams, and coral. Although much of the coral is bleached and dead, there's enough living coral there for adults and kids to enjoy. Since the water is shallow, it's safe to walk all the way out where it gets a little deeper for better snorkeling. The beach is a white sand beach, but we recommend swim shoes which are available at a little grocery store, along with snorkel masks. Many beachside restaurants to choose from. Although there is no public shower, some restaurants have an outdoor shower available.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

Location - it was like a dream.

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.
