- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 127 reviewsFrom the staff to the location, this place was a real treat to me. I Have got the best room of the hotel with the stunning view all over the island. The manager gave me a good discount on it as it was low season and made sure I was happy to everything on the offer. The staff were all friendly and the owner went above and beyond to make sure I was having a good time on the island. She sent me suggestions on where to eat or drink or swim. The interior is the rooms is curated with such a good taste and the garden is extremely well Looked after. There is even a gym, a yoga Shala and a gorgeous pool to relax. I arrived thinking I wouldn’t wanna spent so much time on a such quiet island, but after 2 days I started making plans to actually move there!! Koh Mak is a Thai Gem! Thank you good time team for all your care and effort in making my trip wonderful 🥰Guest review byVeronicaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 347 reviewsThey have Laser and Hobie cat sailing boats to rent! Beautiful little spots (hammocks, sun loungers, big rocks to sit on, etc.) that enabled a very relaxing way to hang out watching the sailboats and sunsets. Excellent value for money especially when you factor in the complimentary breakfast and free taxi shuttle to the Ao Nid (Boonsiri) pier. But excellent value for money just based on the bungalow and property too. Super unique and enjoyable pool. Just wish the pool was open later to cool off in after dinner (they currently close to pool at 6 pm which seems super early to me for a pool that isn't lifeguarded anyway). Off the end of the pier, they also have a sunken motorcycle, golf cart, and car along with some coral nurseries that are fun to snorkel around when the water visibility is good. Just watch out for the sea urchins.Guest review byJohnAfghanistan
- From US$217.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 806 reviewsThe staff were always helpful and went above and beyond for us to enjoy our stay. The breakfast was an incredible mix of western and Thai cuisine and everything tasted great. The beach was clean (the staff cleared litter and debris every day), and the room from the bungalow was so serene and peaceful. There weren't many people during the time we visited so the beach often felt very private and quiet. The hotel has scooters and golf carts for hire and you can easily book a massage. Everything was amazing and really made our honeymoon the most romantic and mo¥emorable it could have been. Thank you to everyone at Mira Montra!Guest review byLsp13pJapan
- From US$48.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 143 reviewsLovely peaceful spot. Loved our little bungalow - simple and clean, and so close to the water. Nice little balcony to sit on. We could pull the curtains in the morning and see the stunning sunrise. Lots of nice places to sit and read or chill around the property on seats, bean bags, hammocks. Very easy to rent a scooter (250 baht). The nicest rental scooter I’ve ever had - in perfect condition. Very nice breakfast with lovely staff. We had drinks and dinner there one night which was also really nice. A great place to watch the sunset.Guest review byKeithAustralia

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.Guest review byMarty TUnited Kingdom - 10

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.Guest review byFredUnited States - 8.0

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).Guest review byTyeJ_travelGermany
