Situated just steps from the Pai bus station and adjacent to the vibrant walking street, the hostel offers exceptional convenience. With a 7-Eleven right outside the gate and numerous tour providers nearby, staying in and exploring Pai was effortless with Atlas Central as a base. The staff were incredibly humble and hospitable, and additional perks included morning yoga classes and a swimming pool.

The resort is beautiful and relaxing with amazing guests and staff, and the location is perfect, just a minute drive to the center. Have to give a massive shout-out to Kay who works there, she is so welcoming and friendly and absolutely made my stay at Pairadise amazing 😍 Pairadise has really paid attention to the small details such as yoga mats, boxes for organizing, fairy lights and electric candles in the rooms and even the shampoo and conditioner is great!

This is a great place. Our cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a big bed, good shower, sundeck with chairs etc. The host is a super nice lady, who is also a great cook! I would definitely recommend staying for dinner and breakfast. There was also a friendly man made a fire for us in the evening and in the morning.

Extremely clean and new. The 4 people room is comfortable and has enough space for the luggage. There is a nice rooftop to chill and also some area in the lobby good to work. It’s quite and calm. It is settled in a really good neighborhood, with plenty cool cafes and a nice square (where happens the Saturday Market). The owners are super friendly and are always around making sure you have the best stay. The pictures are accurate and I definitely recommend this place!

Very clean and comfortable. Good location, 10-15 mins walk to the lake. Don't let the airport put you off, we only heard one aircraft take off in the 4 days we were there. It's actually really peaceful! WiFi was excellent too. Owner/manger gave great communication about directions, free coffee,water and snacks. Even offered the use of the washing machine, which we jumped at! Staff even helped with us using the machines. Also gave us a late check out due to departure bus time. All this for a great price. Can't fault this lovely place!

    The property is beautiful and so well thought out, heaps of little seating areas and places to relax. The restaurant area is beautiful, comfortable, and shady. The breakfast was one of our favourites from five weeks in Thailand. the fresh fruits and made to order dishes were delicious and paired wonderfully with the buffet choices. The room was spacious and perfect for us. We had access to the water and our child loved kayaking from the deck. The transport to town was super useful, but we also chose and loved the walk back from town in the evening. The perfect distance from town. The pool was also big and very clean. We extended our stay to enjoy this place longer!

    It was worth the three hour trip from Pai on the most...

    It was worth the three hour trip from Pai on the most winding roads through the hills. Top tip - take a travel sickness pill. A small town that's geared up for a massive influx of visitors who on average only stay one night. Plenty of good restaurants and the 40 minute nightime trip around the lake is the highlight. Lots of good photo/video opportunities.

    The area around is beautiful situated in the mountains. The roads bend and rise up and down with very little traffic. There are many local restaurants offering cheap local foods. A great place to stop while travelling around the area.

    We stopped off at Khun Yuam as we had visited the yellow flower fields at Thung Bua Tong which are in flower in mid November. We were then on our way to Pia. We only stayed one night which was enough to see what the town had to offer.

    Pai is a sleepy little hippie village surrounded by mountains. There are no AirBnB tours and no Trip Advisor tours. The streets are lined with tea shops, restaurants, bars, coffee joints and lots of weed shops. Riding scooters here is super dangerous. I’d say about 5-10% of the other travelers had crashed their scooters and were bandaged up. Everything is walkable. So not worth the risk. Loved Pai. Lots of Britts being rowdy at night but bars close at Midnight, so they all have to go home. During the day, it is so sleepy.

    I booked a 4 pax room which has the best view in my opinion. I felt the facilities, the room space and cleanliness are beyond my expectation. What I don't like is the steel slope pavement to my accommodation.

    Mae Sarioang is the one crossroad of the R108 and R105...

    Mae Sarioang is the one crossroad of the R108 and R105 between Mae Hong Song in the North, Mae Sot in the South and Hot/Chiang Mai to the East. Mae Sariang is for many an overnight stop from one of those places to one of those places, what does not gives Mae Sariang the attention it deserves. It is a great hub, for a good number of day trips into the mountain, to and along the Salaweng river and to a great number of viewpoints on relatively good paved roads and some dirt roads. It has conserved the old days charm of a slower Northern Thailand / Lana small town with enough bars, restaurants and coffee shops to fill a week. A good place to stay a bit longer and explore the hill tops, river villages and coffee plantations, before you are heading off to the next point.

    Ten years ago this might have been heaven on earth. Today, it's overrun with party-hungry, mostly British tourists, who are loud, numerous and disrespectful. Such a shame, really, as the town is charming and the nature is lush, but it's just too much of that drinking-puking-yelling vibe to be enjoyable.

    A small town which most people use as a stopover on the Mae...

    A small town which most people use as a stopover on the Mae Hong Son Loop. It is a lovely place with some lively local spots on the river. Trekking and rafting available. Recommend Ching Ching bar for drinks and Redwood and Coriander restaurant for great food. Cheap massage in local spots.
