Definitely the best staff I encountered in any hotel in my life. They constantly want to go the extra mile, very polite and elegant. Classy staff members. Good manners. Location of the hotel is the best by far with the Swiss hotel. Great views and close to everything you need as a tourist for a pleasant stay. High quality rooms and facilities. Best staff ever! This is my second stay at this hotel, and once again, everything was perfect. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a cozy bed where I could get a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the room cleaning was exceptional. The location is convenient, with easy access to both city landmarks and attractions outside the city. During my stay, I celebrated my birthday, and when I returned to my room in the evening, I found a birthday greeting and a cake in the fridge. It was such a sweet surprise and made me so happy. Thank you so much! We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we are in Izmir.

    The Old Town Agora and the Hotel - amazing. Izmir is extremely well located to head out early and explore Ephesus. We should have stayed another day and taken some boat cruises and organised a private guide to showcase the city to us... but we just ran out of time.

    Review of Fethiye, Turkey Fethiye is one of those rare destinations that truly has something for everyone. From stunning natural beauty to rich history and warm local hospitality, our time here was nothing short of unforgettable. The turquoise coastline, especially around Ölüdeniz, is breathtaking—perfect for swimming, paragliding, or just relaxing by the beach. The Blue Lagoon is postcard-perfect, and the sunsets are spectacular. If you're into nature and hiking, the Lycian Way offers incredible trails with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. Fethiye town itself is lively yet relaxed, with authentic Turkish markets, a beautiful marina, and delicious restaurants serving everything from fresh seafood to traditional Turkish cuisine. The Tuesday market is a must-visit for local produce and handmade goods. We were also struck by the friendliness of the people—everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and happy to help. Whether you're exploring ancient ruins like the Amyntas Rock Tombs, taking a boat tour through the 12 Islands, or simply enjoying Turkish tea at a café, Fethiye offers an unforgettable mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural charm. We left with hearts full and will definitely return!

    Ölüdeniz beach & lagoon and Belcekiz beach are the main...

    Ölüdeniz beach & lagoon and Belcekiz beach are the main attractions (not shops). It is a small beach town. Because the mountains rush to the Sea here, this is a paragliding paradise and a MUST activity. While the beach is public, beach lounge chairs and umbrellas are only for rent. Cash is preferred, but restaurants easily take credit cards. There are lots of ATMs around. Best restaurants are on the beach side with good menus but with tourist pricing, yet still reasonable. We enjoyed Buzz Beach Bar for lunch (great tuna mayo wrap and fruit smoothies) and Bella Gusto (Italian) for dinner with homemade pasta.

    Great castle and museum - with amazing Roman artifacts and a splendid view from the battlements. The undercover market was huge and cool in the heat. The water show at 21:00 each evening was excellent Easy to get about on small buses cost 50p for entire journey. Lots of good places to eat - some even without a giant TV showing the football !!

    The beach and surrounds were very dirty. More cigarette butts lying around on the beach than pebbles. Surrounding area also dirty. Very disappointed in Kusadasi. Went to a recommended restaurant and got ripped off with inflated prices and terrible food.

    The pass includes the ruins which is preserved fairly well and the Pamukkale's terraces (and museum). Many of the terraces are empty of water and quite dried out. But we were able to soak in a few of them. The very top one has hot water dropping down from pipes and the water was warm and nice. The ones down below were colder and still ok to soak in. The pictures online were too good to be true, especially since there were a lot of people even at night. But overall, it is still worth the trip.

    Nice looking and laid back town with mainly local tourists, few foreigners. Central beach is a mess. Good beaches are only accessible by transport. Beautiful historic fortress. 3 days are enough in this town

    The best place in Turkey I have seen so far for vacations. Maybe because it is not typically Turkish at all - feels more like Greece. The quality of people there is really high. Lots of night life and great restaurants (many Michelin) and local wines. Local restaurants designs are mind breaking!

    Our driver Mustafá was very kind.

    Our driver Mustafá was very kind. He drove us around all the sights including Ephesus Ruins, St John Basilica, Virgin Mary’s House and Artemis Monument, all in one day. Only down side is we had to pay cash since they don’t accept credit card. One needs a form of transportation since it is not walking distance. Be prepared in the heat with umbrella, hat, sunscreen, handheld fan and water.
