- From US$378.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 7,622 reviewsIdeal location, just a few minutes from Taksim Square and the unique İstiklal Street, and only a short walk to the Dolmabahçe Palace. The facilities are modern and luxurious; we had a room with a simply breathtaking view of the Bosphorus (two photos attached), and everything was absolutely flawless. The restaurants and bars are excellent; on behalf of the other staff, we would like to mention Mr. Mert from the Stella Lounge, who always served us with exceptional kindness at breakfast; all of them were exceptionally friendly and thoroughly professional. We are truly grateful to the hotel and its staff for the wonderful stay!Guest review byOtterfingerAustria
- From US$57.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsMy friend and I had an incredible 7-day stay at the hotel that exceeded all our expectations. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the kindness and hospitality of the staff, especially Ramazan. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and we’re deeply grateful for his warmth and genuine friendliness. Ramazan played a huge role in making our time at the hotel so enjoyable. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning! We're already planning our next trip to Istanbul in August and look forward to staying at the 'Trip Hotel' again. Amazing value for money—thank you so much!Guest review byGeorgiBulgaria

Pro’s lots of shopping, lots of restaurants with a variety of menu’s. All the shops we visited took Euro. Turkish baths are amazing so relaxing. Loved the shopping some of the shops in the main streets are cheaper than the bazar… The spice bazar was amazing.. Con’s the hop on hop off tour was a bit of a let down, didn’t see too much… Traffic is a nightmare and they are all mad drivers..Guest review bySandraIreland - 8.0

This is a very old crossroad, market city.
This is a very old crossroad, market city. There are many historic sites to visit but they are mostly mosques. If you are into shopping - this is fine place for it but be prepared for big brand knock-offs everywhere. Traffic can be ridiculous.Guest review byValeryBulgaria - 10

Old city charm, quite unexpected after you arrive in a big city that on face value doesn’t look that charming. We had a great 24 hours. Went to grand mosque , blue mosque & blue tombs ( better than grand mosque , bazaar, food markets, silk market ( lovely old ottoman building), isichan bridgeGuest review byAnneAustralia - 10
Tuzla is a wonderful area on the edge of Istanbul.
Tuzla is a wonderful area on the edge of Istanbul. It has much fewer tourists and more of the local people, which gives it a more authentic feel of its culture. Despite having many restaurants and cafes now, you can still enjoy its calm atmosphere.Guest review byOWSamadi90Lebanon - 10

Nature walks, a lot of nice places to enjoy the beautiful scenery of valleys and mountains, Sapancha is a very nice place to spend a couple of good long days with the family and kids or with your partner. A lot and I mean a lot of nice places to have breakfast or lunch with a stunning view. Shopping is great especially the outlet at izmit.Guest review byJasem AliKuwait - 6.0
Very hard to find a bar selling alcohol.
Very hard to find a bar selling alcohol. However there were lots of off licenses. Some bars said they sold alcohol but then ran to the off license when you placed your order! We visited at the time of the cherry festival which was good.Guest review byJessicaUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Corlu is fine but not a tourist place.
Corlu is fine but not a tourist place. I was visiting friends. You are asking all these things but give no possibility of actually talking to you to get the problems we had sorted. The hotel you show was nothing like the reality. A wheelchair user could book this hotel and be totally stranded. Also locally it is used by prostitutes.Guest review byKathrynUnited Kingdom - 2.0
we have been guests there
we have been guests there We had a one week booking , our baby got a strong allergy the owner promised us a refund if we checked out but he said he will send it in the end of October So we checked out Now after contacting the owner they seem to be lying to avoid making us a refund , we also have pictures of the very bad situation the house was in when we got there that lead to the baby getting an allergy there was a lot of insects and the house was dirtyGuest review byMohamedAlgeria - 8.0

Sadly, Istanbul has gotten very touristy and quite expensive. If you like queueing than I would recommend it. Some amazing historical sites that are worth the queues but the entrance prices are well in excess of what I believe they should be charging. The Turkish people fall into one of two categories, never in between: Either exceptional friendly and helpful or rude & don't care that they are doing a job. It is totally hit or miss. The food is great but be aware that they use flour or such like in almost everything so if you have intolerances, this is not the city for you. Travel around the city is fairly easy once you figure out how/which to buy - Istanbul card. The Istanbul card covers all travel in the city including the ferries which is a cheap way to go on a river cruise of the Bosporus.Guest review byEileenUnited Kingdom
