The property is beautiful, has a lot of activities and a tropical scenery. Now to the specifics: The staff in general were super friendly and happy. A special thanks to Kelvin from the beach bar. The food was absolutely amazing, from the breakfast buffet, to the lunch in green & grill (paid, as we had only half pension), to all the dinner options - except Andiamo, see below. We specially loved the buffets at the beach and around the pool. We did 2 tours from the hotel which were great and the same price of outside companies. We strongly recommend the swimming with dolphins tour, that can be book at the hotel’s diving shop. Go in the afternoon when there’s less people. They take you on a boat and when you see dolphins you jump to the water! It’s a good workout as you do this multiple times to get a perfect shot :) The swimming pool is great and always had chairs available - great due to the low tide at the beach. This side of the island has the low tide phenomenon which makes it impossible to go swim in the ocean for some hours. But that’s nature. If you do try, take aqua shoes because there’s a lot of sea urchins. There’s free sandwiches, fruit and water at the reception 24h/day.Guest review byAnaPortugal

Yohana always greeted us in the main restaurant with a nice smile (we thank him for always a nice welcome). Food quality very good. A mix of Indian, Italian and international cuisine. Everything was amazing and beyond our expectations! The room was super clean, and the food was amazing. We also got two coupons for dinner and a massage as a gift for our wedding, which was very kind. But the reason, the resort will stay in our hearts forever, is the staff at the hotel. They were all so nice and really made us feel like at home. I would like to mention Jackson from the reception, who always helped us with the right answers and Issa from the restaurant who always welcomed us with smile and kindness. In the evening, the staff from towel center played beach volleyball with us, so we got an opportunity to meet and hang out with them. Zanzibar is beautiful and a very safe city. They have an organized transport system for tourists . I travelled to Nungwi beach and it was really a beautiful place. It was not crowded and the water was very clear and the water sports activities and so many . There are very many eateries all around . Matemwe is ideal for relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Matemwe is near Mnemba island 🏝️ for swimming with dolphins 🐬 . The sea and beach with super soft and white sand are absolutely fabulous and relatively clean. I got bitten by sand fleas on my legs because I spend a lot of time in the sea and walked barefoot. Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable.
