We booked a junior suite which was really spacious with the most enormous comfortable bed. We had a few issues but they were quickly resolved and we had amazing meals at the a la carte restaurants. I have to mention ‘Wok’ which was faultless and I would go back just to dine there. We also had a romantic beach dinner which was lovely. The water-sports centre is well equipped and we learnt to paddle board, we played lots of pool and we also played tennis every day. The court does need resurfacing but it is fine for a knock about. Zanzibar is beautiful and a very safe city. They have an organized transport system for tourists . I travelled to Nungwi beach and it was really a beautiful place. It was not crowded and the water was very clear and the water sports activities and so many . There are very many eateries all around . Matemwe is ideal for relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Matemwe is near Mnemba island 🏝️ for swimming with dolphins 🐬 . Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. The sea and beach with super soft and white sand are absolutely fabulous and relatively clean. I got bitten by sand fleas on my legs because I spend a lot of time in the sea and walked barefoot. Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable.
