"I stayed two nights at the Okra Hotel in Busambaga/Entebbe on the way back to Brussels and we would have loved to stay longer. The staff is very welcoming. The meals are excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean. A shuttle links the hotel with the airport of Entebbe. Last but not least: you can relax on the roof top with a beautiful view on the city and the Victoria Lake. I hope to come back in the near future to discover the beautiful country of Uganda and will definitely stay at the Okra Hotel in Busambaga/Entebbe again."

We stayed at JET Villa during our last days in Uganda, and it was the perfect place to end our trip. Nestled in a peaceful, green neighborhood, it felt like a tranquil retreat while still being within walking distance of everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better! The villa itself is cozy, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Shamim, the manager, is simply amazing—she goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly and that guests feel welcome. Her kindness and helpfulness really stood out. Benjamin greeted us with his warm smile and made us feel right at home. We’re also grateful to Isaac for taking such good care of us. A special thanks to Samuel, who was so helpful with his tuk-tuk. Not only did he help us get around, but on our last day, he took us to the airport early in the morning and even played music during the ride. It was such a thoughtful and fun way to end our trip—a perfect final touch! If you’re looking for a warm, easy, and welcoming place to stay, JET Villa is absolutely the place to be.

Very close to the airport, cozy and clean, this is a very beautiful and comfortable hotel. The breakfast was on another level. Been in several hotels around the world, this is one of the best. First time I was seeing a bathroom mirror that had lights on it when you touch, 🤣😂.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Ready to help with any issues or questions I had about the guest house and the area. The food was exceptional, and I wish I could have this at home as well. Lyarnah, the new manager, the daughter of the original owners, has done an amazing job to raise the standards back to what they were with the owners; as well as providing wonderful experience for a single traveller that doesn't know the area well. Very informative with suggesting places and attractions around the country that I should visit.

Wonderful hotel! Keith and his wife know what it means to have attention to detail. The room was spotlessly clean and perfectly furnished, the restaurant is lovely and the cooking is incredible. The pool is one of the highlights, we loved relaxing by the pool. All the staff are friendly and helpful and ready to help. They helped us organise our activities such as horse riding and tubing on the Nile (both highly recommended activities). Don't miss this place because you might regret it!

Entebbe is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants.

Entebbe is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants. Great bars on the lake shores to enjoy a sundowner at. Easy to get around, and very friendly and helpful people. Nice shopping mall with nice food, ATMs and a grocery shop.

Entebbe is a good small city to visit, if you don't want the full Ugandan experience. Having said that, you will be able to easily find whatever you want there but you may miss the real Uganda. Entebbe is a nice and clean town with many tourist attractions to visit. I highly recommend leaving Entebbe to see the many other wonderful things in the Pearl of Africa. Njagala nnyo Uganda!!!
