We really enjoyed our stay at Alpine Inn. From arrival to departure, we only encountered amazingly friendly staff that always had an open ear for each and any question and was helpful throughout our multi-day stay. Great team you got there, guys.  While the hotel has a fun theming when you see it from the street, it may look like your standard motel from the courtyard - but the rooms are way better than standard motel rooms. We have rarely, if ever, experienced rooms that were so spotless clean. And I really mean spotless, from door to bathroom joints. We have stayed about 3 1/2 months in hotels, motels & vacation rentals in the last 12 months, from Deluxe hotels and Disney Deluxe resorts to moderate hotels to motels and Alpine Inn's rooms were hands down the cleanest rooms we have been staying at for a very long time.  And don't forget the mattresses: very comfy and on par with the very "famous" "Disney Vacation Club mattresses" everyone who has ever slept on raves about.  Housekeeping during our stay was also perfect. Even when we left the room late on some days (we are lazy 😂) housekeeping still did what was scheduled for the day (really wouldn't have expected this).  Overall Alpine Inn offers a great value for the money, especially considering how close it is to a popular tourist destination like Disneyland (10 minutes walk) and the Anaheim Convention Center (just on the opposite side of the street) and we can highly recommend staying there and will also stay there again ourselves, next time we visit Disneyland. From the searing depths of Death Valley to the snow-capped peaks of the Lake Tahoe mountains, California is a wonderful US state that sums up the American Dream. Nowhere is this more evident than Los Angeles, the home of Hollywood and many stars who grace its red carpets.

In the south-west, Anaheim has a great range of Californian hotels near Disneyland where the magic of the movies comes to life. Sun-drenched San Diego, located close to the Mexican border in the state's south-western tip, is a popular spring break destination as is Palm Springs in a valley surrounded by rugged mountains.

In the well-known wine region of the Napa Valley the vineyards produce some fantastic wines, while Monterey is best known for its spicy cheese and the beautiful coastline that becomes the Big Sur coastal drive. Another driving adventure is the fabled Route 66 and parts of it pass through California, ending at Santa Monica pier.

    This hotel was one of the greatest surprises of our road trip, we booked it very last minute mainly due to the very interesting price and we got an incredible room/small apartment, with bath robes, separate dining/living and bedroom, super comfy beds in a warm and nice atmosphere where everything was spotlessly clean. It was very well located to explore the incredible surroundings of Lake Tahoe and it suited our family of 4 very well. The café next to the hotel had also incredible nachos that they would also bring to the room! All in all we enjoyed it very much.

    A lovely hotel about 3hours from LAX for an one night 2 day stopover in LA. A treat for our last night of holidays. And wasn't it a treat. Hired a car, and arrived to Valet parking (extra), a beautiful comfortable room, and the most friendliest Hotel and Restaurant staff I have ever experienced. Sadly the weather wasn't in our favour, so swimming and hopping in spa wasn't on our list, but it didn't stop others as it was heated. The food, views, staff and decore at the Marisol Restaurant was sensational. There is an ocean walk path to enjoy as well.

    We were there just for one Night but i have to say I would come back here any time. Helpfull and friendly staf. Beautiful location on the coast. We have stayed in the room with see side View. Room was spacious, clean. The most comfortable bed I've slept in in a long time. There was a wide slecetion of food for breakfast.

    This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the room we got allocated was really large with a lovely outdoor seating area in the front. San Diego is a beautiful city with a lot to see such as San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Legoland or just going to the beach. Too many places to name that are great to eat at. On this trip we ate at Shake Shack and it was delicious!

    I like that the room is big and clean, but they should have 2 trash cans in the room instead of 1. We stayed there for 3 nights. We didn’t ask for cleaning service the next day, but on the 2nd day we left in the morning came back in the room around 3 pm expecting that our room would be cleaned and ready, but we were disappointed that it hasn’t been cleaned yet. Good thing the cleaner was next door cleaning that room. We just asked for some fresh towels and to empty the trash can. They have reasonable price.

    I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on and off ramp for the Hwy. Its right next to the Denny's, well as a Walmart super center! Theres also Wendys, and Starbucks across the street! Its far enough from the inner city were there tends to be a lot of riff raff as well low scale crime, as well as drugs. I felt at peace, and you can tell that the management puts a lot towards 2training her staff! Real good hard-working staff as well as very courteous and attentive to the guests needs! I figured that there would be a lot of noise and everything else that's associated with hotels that are more cost effective.

    Unfortunately most museums and the botanical gardens were...

    Unfortunately most museums and the botanical gardens were closed when we were there, we arrived Monday and left Thursday, it seems to be a city that mostly works Thursday to Sunday. The hotel was walking distance from the city center, easy to walk around, beautiful city, we didn't have enough time to do the hikes in the canyons, I would love to go back for that.

    Nothing was too too far just about 14mins out by car which is not bad.i cooked in my hotel with provided pots and skillet and utensils and sooon and spatula to take hot foods out I did not spend money out to eat I saved money cooking for my children. Definitely the legoland discovery center at the great mall, sky zone which was only 39 mins away from hotel Homewood suites San Jose/santa Clara.
