- From US$485.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,354 reviewsWe loved the vibe: Lombardy was built in 1929 and they kept the 20s feel intact, including a shutter-type door that enclosed our room entrance; we loved that they kept them. Our King Suite bed was perfect. There's a small ante-room with sink, fridge, cupboards and a breakfast table. The windows opened for fresh air. The ceiling fan evened out the AC unit nicely. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, from the moment we showed up at the door and were met by the concierge. It's 15 min walking distance from the White House; other attractions are further and walkable, but also only 2-3 blocks from the Metro which we used every day - perfect for getting around everywhere. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby (good price range). Area vibe is also great - George Washington University is nearby.Guest review byDC1953Canada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,175 reviewsHotel Hive is a true gem in D.C.! The location is incredible, just a short walk from the White House and Lincoln Memorial, which made sightseeing super easy. The hotel has a unique and stylish “Hive” vibe that really sets it apart. I loved the cozy and beautifully designed rooms, and the bathroom essentials had a refreshing Verbena scent, a big plus for me! The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the neighborhood and was a great spot to unwind in the evening. While there’s no on-site parking, the hotel provides a discount code for a parking garage conveniently located just across the street.Guest review byJekaterinaLithuania

Perfect location - 10 minute walk from the White House. Comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean rooms. We LOVE that they do a free gin tasting in the lobby every day. Great coffee and food. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We will be back :)Guest review byMaureenIreland

We love the tours that we took of the We also got to take the engraving and printing of money. We also got to watch them being in the house on the floor, making laws or whatever they do. We have to sit in on that session. Overall, it was a good experience. I would’ve loved to got up closer to the White House. We did have a tour schedule, but it got canceled so hopefully next time we go that we can get that done but all in all we had a good time so we were excitedGuest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
Where to begin? There is so much to see in this city.
Where to begin? There is so much to see in this city. So much wonderful architecture and rich history of our great country. Museums are just the surface. In our 6 days there we were able to fit in: hop on/hop off bus night tour, Ford's theatre, FBI experience, Arlington cemetery, International spy museum, US Capitol Building, Library of Congress, Washington monument, the People's House, the Pentagon, Kennedy Center, Museum of the Bible, O Museum, National gallery of art, and the National Archives... And, we still didn't see half of what there is to see there. The metro is very efficient, timely, and safe - we used it to get almost everywhere. Wear good shoes and be prepared to walk a lot.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

it is a very nice city, surprisingly it has a bad reputation which i see no real reason for, it is very clean, lot of police so it feels safe. whether is not as bad as they say. only thing is, that it is really awful place to make shopping! no real Malles, no real shopping areas with large stores and also rather expensive. but all and all i would recommend visiting.Guest review bywokonIsrael
