We got around town via Uber/Lyft which was readily available. Some of AC is rundown but I guess every city has that these days. We attended a show at Ocean which was great; had dinner at Angelo's which was very good; had an excellent breakfast at Gilchrist which is on the bay water. The Showboat has lots of entertainment for families which is nice.Guest review byPeiferUnited States - 10.0

Stunning Mid Century Modern Motels and fabulous neon signage . Would recommend the Doo Wop experience museum. Its small but has wonderful original pieces and very knowlegable volunteers who have great stories of the Wildwood history in the 1950s/60s. The Starlux and Caribbean motels are both great well preserved and maintained 1950s MCM motels both with great architecture and fixtures and fittings. Very walkable town, great beach and 2 great traditional family dinersGuest review bypenelopeUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Cape May is a sleepy town with expensive homes and pricey...
Cape May is a sleepy town with expensive homes and pricey lodging. But it’s overrun like Dizzy World with young couples and their kids. They’re clogging the streets in their cars, their rental bikes, and their rental golf carts. And it’s loud in their restaurants. The ($10 daily) beach is extremely nice and peaceful though. However, my favorite is Wildwood Crest. Easier and safer to use the streets. There’s a low cost shuttle to the Wildwood boardwalk. Many ocean facing, large rooms at much less cost than Cape May. And more convenient restaurants to eat at. Also a free beach!Guest review byKennethUnited States - 10.0

we are seniors and had been to wild wood many times. this was the first time in the crest and we liked it but to be fair we had plans to go to cape may for antiques and food and sunset beach. also we love the the cape may zoo. we did find a restaurant near our Aqua Beach hotel, italian, i think and it was great.Guest review byrussellUnited States - 2.0

My overall experience was bad. You need to do the following: - fix the broken pieces in the elevator - change the carpet in the corridor: it is dirty and it stinks - fix the phone in the room: unable to call at least the front desk - fix the toilet: it flooded each time I had to flush - let your staff know that the customers concerns are to taken care of ASAPGuest review byPierrick JeannotUnited States - 8.0
Seaside Heights is a good place for families.
Seaside Heights is a good place for families. The boardwalks and beaches are clean and safe. There is a beach where dogs can go, south of the boardwalk. It's not that far of a drive and we're glad our puppy could go. Recommend getting up early to catch the sunrise.Guest review byJennifer - 4.0

The town and beach were clean and well kept with good restaurant options. We spent one day at the beach, but didn't go back because of the cost to get onto the beach. I live in CA, and couldn't believe that Point Pleasant Beach charges $14 per person, to enter the beach. The food was decent in the restaurants that we visited, but nothing to write home about. I would have liked to gone to other Jersey Shore beach towns for comparison.Guest review bygjellisUnited States - 10.0

I was moved by the raising of the flag to Star Spangled Banner at the music pier at 9 am. Many people come out, both young and old. People were friendly when walking on the boardwalk. The staff at the stores were friendly and helpful. I have a new "favorite" breakfast spot on Asbury Street called "Hooked on Breakfast".Guest review byRhondaUnited States - 10.0
My stay at Kiteville was excellent.
My stay at Kiteville was excellent. I started out with a one week stay. I was very convenient for me. Close to the beach and close to my family residence in freehold. What I liked most was the price. The beds were very comfortable. All in all I wound up staying a month at a price that beat any motel in the area. It was an apartment with a living room, kitchen, and a bedroom with 2 beds. In the month of August it was full every day. When summer ended full on weekends. I recommend staying at kiteville for the price and comfortable hospitality.Guest review byEdward - 8.0

The Thursday night prime ribs at the High Point restaurant were good. The subs at Vic's Sub Shop were outstanding. Galloway has some interesting attractions if you are interested in the casinos in Atlantic City, the shops in Smithville, plus nearby attractions for families.Guest review byRichardUnited States
