We ask for an inside room (View on the Pool, little Balcony) , because you are in the middle of Bourbon Street and there is Party going up to 4 in the morning. I read some comments here about the noise. Yes , but what do you expect , wanting a room on the Party Mile of New Orleans, IN MIDDLE of the Party? You certainly can watch the party from your balcony, but for that reason, we opt for a Backroom. It was Quiet. we could even sleep with the balcony door open, (Yes we Europeans like to let fresh air in, not just AC) The Valet Parking was quick and friendly, no stress at all. Nice. the Jazz Bar was nice to, a trio performed some songs live. pleasure to sit there, sip our drinks and listen to easy jazz. If possible we will return. Always an experience to visit New Orleans! See the usual such as Bourbon Street and Cafe du Monde but this time I visited the Mardi Gras World where they make the floats for the parades - and for other companies as well. It was well worth it! The guide was so fun and it was a super nice time. They even come and pick you up and then took as far as they could to the French Quarter! We rode the hop on hop off bus and that was a good deal as well. The guide on this was super informative. Lots of great information. I was disappointed that it cost so much to get in to the cemetery and did not partake of that due to cost and timing. Was very pleased with Mulate's restaurant close to the convention center. Food was wonderful! And a little place called Cochon Butcher was unique! Take advantage of the trolley - 40 cents for seniors!Guest review byPatUnited States - 10.0

Worst hotel i have ever stayed at! Disgusting smell, very dirty, everything broken down. Nothing worked including the shower. Manager savanna incredibly rude and controversial even to her staff. Unexpected fees that cost more than the hotel itself. Filthy pool, key to gym didnt work. They lost our check in paperwork so locked us out of our room. I wanted to leave as soon as i got there. we love the gambling. I’m just playing penny slots was absolutely wonderful. We ended up moving up to quarter slots but we had so much fun and we only took like $300 and still came home with money. At the time of this visit to my granddaughter's house in Haughton, the freeway had serious reconstruction in progress to the area of the motel and my son in law was able to lead us to the motel after dark as the exits to the motel were closed for reconstruction. I liked the fact that it was a short drive to many attractions without being in a big city. Traffic was not a problem. Shreveport is not too far. The local people were very friendly. We ate at Traps twice. The food was excellent. The service was great. The re is a big arcade/funzone kind of place called Surge. Drew Breeze is one of the owners. The service was great but the room had certain concerns that needs too be address such as the room I occupied room 212 needed repairs too the sink it had a leak that needed to be repaired so had the first desk bring a bucket to catch the water and also the ac unit needs too be repaired are maybe updated I cleaned both filters and the ac unit didn't blow cool enough too the functioning standards the room still was hot in the near future respectfully I would never book the Metairie location in new Orleans I would book at a better la quinta establish next timeGuest review byJones
