This is an amazing hotel especially for the value. Big rooms, convenient location with Magazine Street 4 blocks away. It was quiet, safe and had a comfortable bed, soft sheets and a HUGE TV. The bathroom was somewhat small; however, it's been update and they have lots of mirrors throughout the room including a full-length mirror and desk where you can do your makeup. The room was huge with a Keurig coffee maker and mini fridge. I was overall impressed and felt safe traveling alone for work. The staff was nice and responsive. It looks basic from the outside, however it's very nice and updated inside. The area around hotel is walkable and somewhat safe considering NOLA; restaurant Jack Rose and the Pontchartrain Hotel are located next door. Worst hotel i have ever stayed at! Disgusting smell, very dirty, everything broken down. Nothing worked including the shower. Manager savanna incredibly rude and controversial even to her staff. Unexpected fees that cost more than the hotel itself. Filthy pool, key to gym didnt work. They lost our check in paperwork so locked us out of our room. I wanted to leave as soon as i got there. This place should not be on booking.com. I want a refund! Stay at horseshoe dont stay here, you will regret it. Their reviews are fake! we love the gambling. I’m just playing penny slots was absolutely wonderful. We ended up moving up to quarter slots but we had so much fun and we only took like $300 and still came home with money. We were there for three days would love to go and say at least five days The staff is absolutely exceptionally trained motivated well deserving we love keep going if you want cleaning us great hospitality wonderful rooms you have got to go to Bally’s in Shreveport.Guest review byherold - 8.0

At the time of this visit to my granddaughter's house in Haughton, the freeway had serious reconstruction in progress to the area of the motel and my son in law was able to lead us to the motel after dark as the exits to the motel were closed for reconstruction. I liked the fact that it was a short drive to many attractions without being in a big city. Traffic was not a problem. Shreveport is not too far. The local people were very friendly. We ate at Traps twice. The food was excellent. The service was great. The re is a big arcade/funzone kind of place called Surge. Drew Breeze is one of the owners. The service was great but the room had certain concerns that needs too be address such as the room I occupied room 212 needed repairs too the sink it had a leak that needed to be repaired so had the first desk bring a bucket to catch the water and also the ac unit needs too be repaired are maybe updated I cleaned both filters and the ac unit didn't blow cool enough too the functioning standards the room still was hot in the near future respectfully I would never book the Metairie location in new Orleans I would book at a better la quinta establish next timeGuest review byJones
