I really enjoyed Las Vegas as a whole. The strip is exciting and has so much to offer. The food was amazing! Top chefs from around the world are here or left their influence. I'm not a buffet person but was talked into one at the Wynn Hotel, amazing (make a reservation the wait is long). Every type of entertainment that the normal persons could ever want. Leaving the strip you find yourself in a normal small city. Las Vegas has a lot to offer beside the strip, Great place to visit. We came for the Star Train and were not disappointed by the trip. Definitely check out the Nevada Northern Railway when in Ely. They offer a number of different train rides, and the self-guided walking tour is also worthwhile. The Star Train is especially lovely, taking passengers out to the desert at night to a star viewing area, with telescopes and accompanied by professional astronomers. We were in the area for the Ron Fellows Driving School but we did try to explore the area while we were there.
