From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its breathtaking location – this hotel is indeed very close to the ocean, and the proximity to the water is simply unbeatable. One of the highlights of my stay was the everyday changing and tasty breakfast. Each morning, I eagerly looked forward to the delicious surprises that awaited me. It was a delightful way to start my mornings and provided the perfect fuel for my day of exploration. What truly sets the Ocean House apart, though, is the serenity it offers. It's an incredibly quiet place, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I found myself relaxing like never before, with nothing but the soothing sounds of the ocean to accompany me. And let's not forget the view! The ocean view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular. I spent countless hours gazing out at the horizon, watching the waves roll in and feeling completely mesmerized by the beauty of nature. It's a view that truly enhances the overall experience of staying at the Ocean House. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. In conclusion, I can't recommend the Ocean House hotel enough. It's a hidden gem that offers a unique combination of proximity to the ocean, delicious breakfasts, tranquility, and breathtaking ocean views. Beautiful to walk the path in front of the Inn and watch the surf surge onto the rocks. Spectacular on our windy day. Our room looked to have been completely and newly renovated. Would stay there again. Drift Inn Greek pizza recommended by us.

    We were surprised how few Seafood places there were on the coast. Mo's was a highlight. We visited Mo's twice and both times the food was great! Most of the restaurants were Mexican or Chinese. Many of the fast-food places were old or dirty. Really enjoyed watching the glass blowers and visiting Connie Hanson Flower Garden!

    Don't be discouraged by the exterior! Clean, clean, clean room-- big plus! Jeremy checked us in and was absolutely fabulous! Excellent location despite the online booking which showed the location on the beach. We were within walking distance of the Prom and beach. The downtown area was so quaint and close!

    The town was quaint with great places to eat, stay, and...visit the ocean. We enjoyed it immensely. We ate at a great Thai restaurant called Lucky Thai Elephant restaurant. Delicious. We had coffee at the Human Bean. Wonderful!!!

    Astoria is a unique town in a unique location.

    Astoria is a unique town in a unique location. I love the architecture of many of the homes in Astoria and the way they are arrayed along hilly streets. The town is fairly compact so attractions are never a long drive away. Ships coming in from the sea to go up the Columbia river or returning to the sea lend interest as you drive or walk around the city. Astoria remains one of my favorite cities in the Pacific Northwest!

    Cannon beach has such a cute vibe that's way different from Seaside or any other beach on the Oregon Coast! The beaches are flat and perfect for walking or bike riding. Hug Point during low tide is an absolute must for sea caves and a cute little waterfall. The bunnies on the side streets in Cannon Beach were SO CUTE!! There really isn't a bad choice for pubs, restaurants or shops.

    Florence is a beautiful small town on a beautiful part of the Oregon coastline. It is slow paced and relaxing. There are gorgeous drives with plenty of sites to visit, like the lighthouse and the sea lion caves. There are plenty of excellent dining choices. I found Florence every bit as enjoyable, or more so, than the more well know and advertised area at the north end of the state.

    Amazing stay!

    Amazing stay! Beautiful cozy space with all amenities you could ask for. Beautiful view and delightful host that went out of her way to show us everything including whales in the water. Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer.

    It's a great little Oregon Coastal town.

    It's a great little Oregon Coastal town. We ate fish and chips at the Luna in Yachats in a covered area where our dog was welcome as well. We also ate takeout at at a Mexican restaurant in Waldport, six miles north. YKachats has a cool art gallery caled the Peephole. Joyce is fun to talk with.

    Great town, with lots to see and do. Weather was so nice, which was a plus! We visited friends for their wedding anniversary celebration, and they showed up around town, which was nice as they know the town

    Gold beach bbq is great food.

    Gold beach bbq is great food. The other great food is sunset family pizza. Their tri tip pizza is awesome I recommend either place. I love goin to gold beach cause it's a quiet little town with lots of character.
