There was so much that I wanted to do in the city, but my stay wasn't long enough. I was only there 2 days for Breezy Bowl but I see that the State Fair was starting 2 days later. Bummer. The ferris wheels were so pretty. Reminded me of the big wheel in Vegas that lights up. For lunch, I stopped at Nana Morrison's Soul Food before getting on the road back to VA. The plate was hefty and well worth every dime. Cary and Raleigh are beautiful cities.Guest review byShaunaUnited States - 10

We attended a baby shower but had family over the night before and the place was excellent and accomodated a 6 person get together/Dinner. Durham itself is great to explore,.. with the Duke Gardens, Golf courses and driving ranges, Downtown Durham YMCA for basketball, colleges, and a vibrant Art community.Guest review byKen - 2.0

The housekeeping staff, staff at the food service areas, and those keeping the eating areas clean were outstanding. I enjoy staying at this location when I come to Raleigh to attend my nephew’s NC State Football games!Guest review byEarlUnited States - 10
Personal at front desk was excellent.
Personal at front desk was excellent. Very helpful and caring. I had booked the room through Booking.com. When the event we were going to see was canceled we tried to get our money back. Refund was refused by Bookit.com. So we went to Greensboro anyway. We went to the science museum and to the civil rights museum. Both were wonderful and my 5 year old great grandson didn’t want to leave either one. This is a trip I would like to do again and I would definitely stay at your hotel.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

Chapel Hill is a lovely university town with lots of rolling hills and trees. The buildings on campus are lovely and the grounds are well kept. Our favorite restaurant is Talullas's Turkish Restaurant on W. Franklin. The whole black sea bass and the lamb shank will not disappoint! Try the eggplant and walnut appetizer - Patican Ezmesi with the round loaf of hot baked bread!Guest review byWheelerUnited States - 8.0

Being there for a funeral and meeting family members for the first time, it was not necessarily a place I would otherwise have chosen. What I saw of the area seemed quite nice. We did eat at the same restaurant, Briggs, two days in a row, and that was very good. The food at Briggs was really tasty with huge portions. The staff was super-efficient and friendly. I would certainly recommend it and will go there again if I should find myself in the Wake Forest area.Guest review byIreneUnited States - 6.0

Very green and beautiful.
Very green and beautiful. There was a fabulous Arboretum that was free entry. The food choices are multi cultural and very good. There are children parks that are also lovely and well attended. The city for the most part is clean, great bar-b-q, beautiful azalea garden free to public. Pretty city, would love to come back even though long flight from CA.Guest review byChristinaUnited States
