This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in my entire life. It's just AMAZING. Very very beautiful, conveniently located in centre of Sapa, easily accessible. The swimming pool was very pretty (and warm). All the decorations were very cute and classy. It was the only hotel in Sapa where I did not feel cold at all (I stayed in 3 different hotels), thanks to the central heating, I guess. The staff were super nice and helpful, spoke good English, treated me like a princess (I am a solo traveller). If you have the money, stay at this hotel for your last day in Sapa (just stay in the hotel so you can get the most out of it after you're done exploring Sapa). It's totally worth the price, trust me. Greetings to the receptionist lady who wore the infinity-shaped necklace and the bell guy with cute dimples who helped me take my luggage and brought me more bottles of water. Love it!!

The location of this hotel was really nice, since it is nearby the lake. I could enjoy the river view in my room. Also, all staff were friendly and kind. My bus arrived Sapa in the early morning and the manager, Mr.Kim, helped me to check-in early. I highly recommend this hotel to travlers.

The breakfast was quite spread. The chef was even kind enough to make vegetarian dishes for us. The staff was kind enough to get us the tickets for activities and arrange the cab. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Sapa.

Bed and Pillows: The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were plush and supportive - I slept like a baby! I had an amazing stay at Bamboo Sapa Hotel, and their hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning, around 8 AM, and was immediately welcomed with warmth and kindness. Julie, one of the staff members, noticed that I was freezing and generously lent me her hand heater—such a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference in the chilly Sapa weather. The hotel also provided a shower room, allowing me to freshen up before check-in, which was incredibly convenient after a long journey. On top of that, they offered a **complimentary herbal bath and sauna**, which was the perfect way to relax and warm up after exploring Sapa. It was a unique and rejuvenating experience that added so much value to my stay. Throughout my time at the hotel, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, frequently checking in to see how I was doing. Julie, in particular, was incredibly hospitable **from the moment I arrived until my last day**, making sure I had everything I needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. As a solo traveler, feeling safe and well taken care of is essential, and Bamboo Sapa Hotel delivered on all fronts.     Trekking Sapa's guide Ly accompanied us on a 3 day trek through the mountain villages and at two lhomestays with local families. An amazing, authentic experience that has given us so many great memories. Highly recommend! Food and accomodation in Sapa before and after were great, town is very easy to walk around with cool lights around the lake and the many restaurants.

    Lao Cai is a frontier town and as such, has a quite quirky feel to it. There is not a whole lot to do per se, apart from visiting a couple of pagodas. I do like the vibe there and there is some really good Vietnamese food available.

    Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel owners refuse to provide information and collaborate only with specific companies. English guides limited but a guide named Thao made our stay a nightmare. She was trying to push lunch and other side services, once she realized we didn’t want that, she stopped any guiding and intentionally destroyed half of one day and the whole second day by acting simply as a side person on the trip, not providing absolutely anything. Totally unprofessional and even verbally rude and sarcastic. Avoid at all costs!

    Here in Sapa we had the greatest memories.

    Here in Sapa we had the greatest memories. Would absolutely come for the 5th time. The foods, the attractions, the natural views, the people and the traditional culture, all gave us best unforgettable experience.

    Mountainous area famous for plum.

    Mountainous area famous for plum. It's called the white valley because during the spring the whole area is covered by plum flowers. So it's best to visit in early January. Otherwise, summer is a good time for plum picking. I had an enjoyable experience picking plum myself and brought lots of them home. I was lucky to visit during the weekends when they had annual horse racing competition. Really memorable. They also have weekly Hmong flea market on Sunday, you can eat local food and see ethnic people trading. Riding motorbike and looking at the mountain was fairly enough for me. You definitely should eat at Sa Mu restaurant. The food was so good that we went there twice.

    Everything great. We were able to see some areas. Just only the weather . It is still the wet season time I think we just came on the wrong season. Overall, Sapa is beautiful and will come back again.

    I only stayed Saturday night for the Sunday market but wish...

    I only stayed Saturday night for the Sunday market but wish I’d stayed Friday night too to see the buffalo market on Saturday morning. Get up early (~6am) and go to the market while it’s bustling with locals rather than waiting until the tourist buses arrive (from ~9am). Quan Binh Phuong does good chicken pho for 30,000 VND
