The old town of Hoi An is situated 12 minutes away by taxy from the hotel (you can get there by bike too). There are few restaurants, pharmacies and small stores in the area. - Room: The room with lake view was absolutely beautiful. The decoration, the comfort of the bed, the space you have for storage, the bathtub, your private terrace, everything was amazing. - Facilities/breakfast/hotel: The amenities of the hotel in general are superb. The spa, the gardens, the ponds with fishes, the pool, the restaurant, etc. were fabulous. (the resort was not busy so, we had the chance to enjoy the premises with liberty). The food from the restaurant is great. It is delicious, tasty, good portions, fresh ingredients and they serve western and local dishes for very reasonable prices. I highly recommend to have lunch there. The breakfast was my favorite part of my staying, they serve a vast variety of food for all tastes and dietary requirements. From fresh local fruit, to omelets prepared in that moment. The Vietnamese coffee they serve is out of this world. Honestly, one of the best breakfast services I have experience in my trips. - Staff: One of the best assets from this resort is the staff. They were extraordinary hosts. The receptionists, the guys who help you with your luggage, the staff from the restaurant and the breakfast, they all always tried their best to make our staying a pleasant experience. A Bang beach though a little dirty in parts due to volcanic ash, the water was clean and warm and it wasn’t packed like My Khe Beach. We rented the entire property for a group of 6 people. Everyone has their own room and bathroom which was great and the bedrooms are very comfortable and large with very big beds and phenomenal air conditioning. Communal areas need work tho!! We couldnt enter the kitchen due to a horrific smell from our arrival and there was no plave to relax by the pool. Outdoor furniture would be good. Overall, in particular due to air conditioning, we enjoyed our stay and host was very responsive via whatsapp but not sure Id recommend due to lack of quality communal space, mass of bedding and cleaning ongoing on upper level and fowl kitchen.Guest review byAmy Carroll23Ireland - 8.0

If you want to get a feel for a sleepy town which is not a tourism magnet then this is a place to experience a real local town in Vietnam. Add to that the Quang Nam museum in the center of town is very interesting to visit. Hopefully there will be more information for foreign visitors around! The beach is not that far and it is worth to rent a bike or car and spend sometime around some of the villages around the coast there. They have a lot of characters. Hoi An is a charming historic town on the tourist route between Ho Chi Min City and Hanoi. It is well worth a few days visit to wander around the old streets, visit the interesting museums, browse the markets and shops and eat and drink your fill in the excellent cafes and restaurants. Get a made to measure dress or suit rustled up in no time at one of the many tailors in the town. There are plenty of other places to visit a short distance from Hoi An such as Ba Na Hills, the beach and Hue if you want to extend your stay. An Bang beach is the perfect base for a visit to Hoi An. It’s lovely to have the beach for the day with the town being only a 10 minute taxi away for the night time lanterns. It's a beautiful beach - golden sand, warm sea, gently shelving so v safe for kids. Lots of lovely beach bars and restaurants but not a glitzy party place. What a beautiful pretty pretty place! Loved everything, the markets, the villages, the night time atmosphere, releasing a lantern on the river at night, the bright colours and lights everywhere is very impressive. Best coffee was at Uncle Hunn Bistro, the salted coffee is very artistic with a picture of tree! Loved the Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountain, a definate must see! This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it. Only guesthouses and bikes. Great nature and diving. You can drive up to the lighthouse, but circular movements around the island are now impossible, in several places there are collapses of stones.
