Large room in big homestay (although no one seemed to live on site and we were the only guests) Filtered water machine available to use for free Very kind and helpful staff who communicated relatively well via Google translate. Offered use of the kitchen as no meals available at the homestay. Would stay again if we returned to Nam Dip.

Honestly staying here was the best spontaneous choice I made. I was greeted nicely after a long journey by Nam who speaks very good English. The dormitory is great, simple traditional homestay with a bed and mosquito net, plus phone charger and fan! In the evening he invited me for food with his family and he catered for me being vegetarian :) we ate well, and we drank A LOT (optional) of traditional rice whiskey which was a great time. Overall a great place made my trip to ha giang worth it. I didn't explore the nature but it looks amazing

The proprietor, Michael, is a super nice, helpful guy (although English is limited, easy to communicate with). Comfortable place, even if a bit older. Well equipped. Minibar and water bottle refills a nice touch. Great location. If you are looking for a break from the beaten path, Tuyen Quang a nice reprieve.

I was really happy that I found that place on booking. It is one of the homestays that you only have in the north of Vietnam. You are treated as part of the family. The bed was good and everything was clean. Great food in the evening with the family. The owner speaks a bit English and the rest you do with the phone. The homestay is build in a nice garden setting. If you have a few days, it is a good place to relax. Far from the street and the street noise.
