I like to stay here it's very convenient for me and love the hotel. I always ask for a room further from reception because the view over the water gardens is beautiful. The staff are great too.

Firstly the great welcome on arriving. My room was large with very good facilities and with a balcony - all for a very cheap price. The location was excellent within short walking distance of the river front, restaurants, the markets and the ferry over to the island. Tram the owner was brilliant - she spoke excellent English and was keen to help with any transport during and after my stay - she made my stay very welcoming.

Hotel is in countryside and has a brand new feeling to it. Rooms spacious and very clean. Homestay hotel has its own kitchen and ohh my how good the food was! So far the best meal Ive had in Vietnam. Fresh local food. Fishfarm nearby. Staff was welcoming and really appreciate the guests. Remember to bring earplugs with you, bcs the roosters start the day early ;) haha

The family made sure we have everything to make our stay comfortable and smooth: from preparing delicious, fresh food, organising a boat tour, arranging transport, changing our room on request. It was the most authentic experience we got in Vietnam so far and we loved it!     This place is Eden: you reach the beautiful bungalows via bridges, leading over small canals that sourround them; everywhere are plants and flowers and you are invited to try and eat all the different and exotic fruits hanging from the trees. The pool is clean and nice and the hotel offers bikes and kayaks for free so that you can explore this beautiful Mekong-island by yourself. The family is very nice and helpful and the food is very good.

    Very helpful and sympathic staff. Nice and clean typical wooden room. Decent breakfast. Good dinner at reasonable price. You can book some excursions (boat tour...) or borrow a bike to discover the area by your own. Last but not least : cool down at the swimming pool after a hot day!

    The place with it’s big garden is just wonderful. Very clean room. The breakfast is really excellent. Bikes are free, motorbikes 150 000 dongs per day. Nature around is incredibly beautiful, with thousands of canals all around. Perfect for cycling or biking. I strongly recommend!!

    What an interesting and wonderful area!

    What an interesting and wonderful area! It's beautiful and there's so much to see - from the city itself with its very lively market, to the pottery area with its iconic kilns, to the adjacent island of An Binh, which is rural and very beautiful. We ended up changing our plans to stay in the Vinh Long area several days longer.

    Vinh Long is a great city for tourists, as you experience local life easily. There are nearly no other tourists around, we only saw one other group on our 2 day trip. The city has great places to eat and is easy to discover by bike. The Bus station can be reached via West Bank Station in Ho Chi Minh. We were very grateful that the home stay Mekong Pottery offered organized trips and also the options to have dinner at the home stay. There was a lot of information provided on the website. The host was always present and open for answering our questions. We recommend the trips we booked via the home stay a lot! We had a great stay. The room and the outdoor bathroom are beautifully made and fit the surroundings so well. It's a little oasis for travellers.
