- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 201 reviewsWe couldn't have found a better place to stay in Samoa than at Coconut. It is such a beautiful resort right on the Beach with a fabulous pool and poolbar overlooking the Ocean. The design of the resort is luxurious at the same time as it feels unique and genuine in the way that it has been built by honouring the natural materials of the area. Samoa is a hidden treasure full of culture and beautiful nature. We booked a few private tours through the hotel to explore the island and the driver/guide did a wonderful job. We had several meals at the restaurant overlooking the Ocean where we got to try different, delicious, local dishes and you could really feel the love from the Chef in the food. We loved Samoa and Coconut and the best part of our stay was all the local Staff that really opened their hearts and welcomed us in to their Coconut family 😊 They shared so much of their Samoan culture with us and for that we are forever grateful 🥰🙏 Suzanne and Anna from Melbourne.Guest review byANNASweden
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 12 reviewsThis place is an exceptional little hideaway on the western coast. If you want a few days with nothing to do but swim with tropical fish in an idyllic setting, relax in a hammock or take a dip in the pool all without the crowds and the kids this place is for you. The owners are super friendly and accommodating and the staff melt your heart with their kindness and happy faces. Also the food was the best we had in all Samoa. We loved every minute and would return in a heartbeat. Best resort on Samoa. Thank you Chris and Roonie and the whole Seabreeze family. 🩷🩷🩷Guest review byLisaAustralia

Staff were helpful & pleasant. Dinner, was beautiful. 3 pools to swim, options for more private setting, & natural sea pool within boulders. Beautiful gardens, lawn, & walkways. Our Fale was spacious & peaceful. Hearing the lapping waves and watching the sea beyond the reef was breathtaking. Sheets & pillows lovely. Overall very classy, stylish, & I definitely will return. Sad to leave.Guest review byNumiaNew Zealand

Rooms were fantastic, beds massive and the balcony was an added bonus. Layout and decor of the hotel was equally grand - by far the best I saw in Samoa. Facilities exceptional. Location great. Apia is a beautiful place to visit.
Apia is a beautiful place to visit. You should be prepared with an itinerary if travelling solo or as a couple, or family with small kids. Although alot of those of Samoan heritage would spend a bit of time with family. We spent a little time with family, and managed to visit my grandma's headstone and do up her floral arrangement and solar lights. The temperature I know alot of people would love. Its tropical, certain villages with white sand beaches are serene and tranquil. I will always make time to go back to my home island.Guest review byJojoNew Zealand - 10

Lovely place, very interesting culture, hired a car, went to swim at Turtle Bay, drove into the town to look around. Bought food at some of the local food places, but the best food and price was the resort itelf. To get around one does need to hire a car, they are expensive however. But to get the feel of Samoa, necessary. There are cheaper places to stay, it depends on what you want. A beautiful new airport complements the island, previously was a tin shed but what was lovely about that was the welcoming group singing and paying guitars. Sadly that does not happen at the new airportGuest review byCarolNew Zealand - 10
Vibrant friendly city with plenty to explore.
Vibrant friendly city with plenty to explore. Phat burger good burger & cocktails Georgie’s pizza - local recommendation, very cheesy pizza Cafe Cornwall did amazing breakfast, frappe & milksakes! Piula water cave, Togitogiga Waterfall (free), to-sua trench and the clam sanctuary were our favourite activities.Guest review byKirsty GilmourNew Zealand - 6.0

I was only here for one night, for proximity to my early flight the next day. I would probably stay a couple of nights if returning to enjoy the facilites and surrounds. However, it is a long way from the other sights on the island like the To-Sua Trench and Namua island. The drive to those is about 2 hours on the slow roads.Guest review byKarenAustralia - 10

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Apia is such a welcoming and vibrant place. Even when I’m here for work, it still feels like a getaway – the pace of life is relaxed, the people are incredibly friendly, and the natural beauty all around makes every day feel special. There’s a great balance between local culture, good food, and spots to unwind. Whether it’s enjoying a cold drink by the water, exploring the markets, or just soaking up the atmosphere, Apia always delivers a memorable experience.Guest review byrolltasticAustralia - 8.0

There is not much to do out in this area as its really the wharf town for the ferry out to Savaii. The Sheraton was close by to the wharf and the airport so it worked well for an overnight stay before flying home the next day rather than going all the way into ApiaGuest review bySteveNew Zealand
