- From US$51.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 476 reviewsThe cottage was absolutely stunning! The location and the view is simply amazing! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and spacious. The outdoor bath and shower was spectacular. The cottage was situated right on the cliff a distance away from the other cottages, which gave the impressionof complete privacy. There were fresh flowers and wood for the fireplace as we arrived, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant the first evening and the food was wonderful. The cottage isn’t the cheapest, but absolutely worth the price. Will definitely return to this place!Guest review byStellaNorway

All staff treated us as VIP's and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms were nice and spacious with crisp linen on comfortable beds. The rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, cutlery, crockery, glasses, a microwave and a bar fridge.Guest review byWilnaSouth Africa

One of the most wonderful hotels we’ve ever stayed in offering the best of South Africa. Just pure class. The rooms, the staff, the spa, the food. 5 star all the way. We’ve spent a lot of time in SA yet we were all absolutely wowed by this place. Didn’t want to leave. Also worth mentioning that this place doubles up as a high end hospitality training school giving opportunities to the local community and training them up to work in tourism.Guest review bySamanthaSpain

Thanks also to Melanie for making the Safaris unforgettable and for spotting all the animals we would otherwise have missed as well as for the vivid and detailed explanations.Guest review byIsabelGermany

The general degradation of SA coastal towns is evident and is costing the economy hundreds of millions as tourists are put off by high crime rates, poor service in some shops and municipal lethargy. Water restrictions are in place due to poor planning by unqualified municipal executives. Municipalities need to raise standards by hiring people who can prove their effectiveness and have qualifications and/or experience with testimonials. MacArthur pool was empty. Indifference seems to be the order of the day. Makro is a great store to visit. Addo game park is also recommended. Cape Recife is a great drive. The weather was warm and traffic flowed well.Guest review byBridgetSouth Africa - 10.0

We have been to Addo probably 40 times and just never get enough of it, and once again on rare occassions, saw a lioness up close. As always there were plenty of Buffalo, Elephant, Zebra, Red Hardebeest, Warthog, Kudu, and oh! a Hyena!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Born and bread in Port Elizabeth, the City has a lot of amazing sites to visit. At the heart of the Donkin Reserve stands the striking Stone Pyramid Monument, built by Sir Rufane Donkin, the Acting Governor of the Cape Colony in the 1820s. He erected the pyramid in 1820 as a touching tribute to his beloved wife, Lady Elizabeth Donkin, after whom the city was named (Port Elizabeth) to the 50m high Campanile Memorial with a climb of 204 steps offering a magnificent view of the harbor and surroundings.Guest review byJacobs - 8.0

The town has a long history and it is very well worthwhile exploring the sights in town as well as the nature reserves nearby. The Valley of Desolation is amazing. Plenty of good places to eat in town. On Sundays the town is very quiet.Guest review byNOELSouth Africa - 8.0
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. I wish you can improve on your breakfast, put more effort on it and also use nice tasty sausage. I couldn’t use the phone in the room to make phone calls to the reception so I had to use mine which was not fair. The food at the restaurant was delicious and I didn’t even have to go out. The service was excellent at the Wellness and beauty Spa.Guest review byNokulungaSouth Africa - 10.0
