I even took my Small Dog, and the establishment is very pet friendly! I will be going back!

A central spot on the Midlands Meander. A lovely country village with various places to eat and drink. In reasonable proximity to all that the meander has to offer, from a stop for a cup of great coffee to spending more time purveying chocolates, art galleries, various second-hand furniture options, clothing stores, nurseries (Herbs and Traditional). We stayed at Rawdons Hotel, a homely, warm, and welcoming establishment with very friendly and capable staff. There were also delightful dining experiences at Rawdon's. Beautiful part of the country. Short drive to Nottingham Road, Spar, petrol station. It rained while we were there so we didn't get a chance to walk around. Huge grounds allow you to get away for some peace and quiet if you want, but we did not feel overwhelmed by people and the place was full.
