The rooms are spacious, elegant and calming decor, furnished and provided with all required for a home away from home and more! The bathrooms are well equipped with everything- clean white robes, towels etc!
I could go on and on! The customer service and front desk is at “always available” on any information on the restaurant and assistance required!
The entire estate is a holiday resort with all required!

Easy to get to where we needed to be in terms of location.
Very family friendly. Lots of fun for the kids. Would have been a nice touch to have reception tell us all the wonderful facilities (other than the pool) on offer when we arrived but it was easy to figure it out as we explored.
All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (especially the gate security- big shout out to them)

I noticed some previous reviews mentioned issues with the pool, but when we arrived, it was spotless and ready for swimming, much to the delight of the other guests. We also indulged in a relaxing outdoor massage, which was a perfect addition to our stay. The peaceful, quiet setting and charming vintage decor made for a beautifully nostalgic atmosphere that truly helped us unwind. Although some reviews mentioned concerns about the gravel road, we found it quite manageable—any car could handle it with ease. And the nighttime view? Absolutely breathtaking. This was an unforgettable staycation, and I’ll definitely be returning. Huge thanks to Veranda House and the fantastic team for their hospitality. From all our work trips to JHB, this was disgusting to experience such bad sevice from the owners inspite of us telling them of our issues whilst we there.
