Beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
Beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Tsitsikamma Lodge in the forest, stunning accommodation. Storms River Village a must to visit, lovely restaurants and starting point for outdoor activities . Enjoyed the Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour, the guides were so friendly, had loads of fun! Marilyn's 60's Diner - lovey restaurant definitely worth a visit. Natures Valley is very special.
Natures Valley is very special. Most other bays in the area are over developed and commercialised. Natures Valley still captures the time when going to the beach was not all about how magnificent your property was. Lets hope it stays that way.Guest review byBruceNew Zealand - 8.0
Beautifully picturesque, peaceful, and isolated - Come to '...
Beautifully picturesque, peaceful, and isolated - Come to 'ERS' if you want to spend all your time on the beach or walking the surrounding short nature paths... All the other well known Tsitsikamma sights & activities are located +- a 25-45km drive away...and sadly the only way into Eersterivierstrand is a very rough and dusty 7km dirt road... not great if you didn't come in an appropriately rugged vehicle... Also, be sure to pack literally EVERYTHING you will need for your stay - incl. drinking water / ice / firewood / food and beach gear... buying something you had forgotten means traveling +-17km (to the thrift shop and back) at the N2 turn-off into Eersterivierstrand...Guest review bySonet & Eugene BarnardSouth Africa - 8.0
Kareedouw was a transit point for us driving on Route 62.
Kareedouw was a transit point for us driving on Route 62. Beautiful countryside, and experiencing more rural farm country compared to other parts of the Garden Route. This quaint little town has so much to offer. The access to the forests with its fantastic hikes, loads of other activities and a couple of great restaurants. Nature´s Valley is by my opinion the most beautiful place along the Garden Route. Quiet, swimming is possible both in The Ocean and in the lagoon. Not crowded at all (like Stormsriver Mouth), with 1 shop and 1 restaurant.Guest review byVladimírCzech Republic - 10.0

The rooms are spacious and it has stunning views of the sea. Appliances are a bit outdated but it had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend 29@kamma. We were very comfortable. It does not have any tv channels, not even regular SABC channels. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay and I would happily return in future. It has a shop about 10 minutes away, a butchery and garage. It was all close by. The Tsitsikamma National park is an half an hour drive away and the Elephant Sanctuary was an hours drive away in Plettenberg Bay. It was well worth the visit. It's a little dorpie, so not much to do there but...
It's a little dorpie, so not much to do there but Assegaibosch Lodge was amazing. Great property with springboks, horses and blue crane on site for viewing. Great views of the surrounding mountains. Great hospitality from Leandra and the team. A bit of a long drive from the Tsitsikama National Park but definitely worth the drive. Great price point as well.Guest review bySeeletse - 10.0

We just Luv this quaint little town, love that it's in the heart of nature yet it still offers fun adventures for everyone! Absolutely love the peace and quiet, the birds, the forest with stunning views from both mountains and sea. The suspension bridge at Stormsrivier Mouth is a Must See to experience. Marilyn's Diner and Tsitsikamma Village Inn & Hotel always worth a visit with great food, excellent milkshakes and of course the Flame Bistro has the best potato wedges, curries, wines and friendly efficient service. Riding a Sedway through the forest is great fun and the Canopy Tour ziplines has breathtaking views and is a thrilling experience!Guest review bySlater - 10.0
I have been travelling to Natures Valley for close on 45...
I have been travelling to Natures Valley for close on 45 years, and it is still my "heart's place". It is a destination for peace and quiet and even solitariness. wild deserted beaches, walks along rocky coastlines, along tidal estuaries, and there are forest paths to follow. The bird life is excellent, buck and bush pig can be seen and heard in the deep forest, and cheeky vervet monkeys peek out through hedges. There is a "shop" within the village that sells most emergency-type supplies, and a restaurant adjacent. A FABULOUS farmstall is located at the top of the Grootpas road pass (8 kms) up the road, which sells artisanal cheeses, and dairy products and is a MUST to visit for its deli meals.Guest review bySchramSouth Africa
