Our Hunter Valley farm is the perfect place to get away from it all and is great for families, with our Alpacas to keep the kids entertained during your getaway, whether that be just for the day or you decide to stay for a while in one of our self contained farmstay cottages. Very friendly staff and the kids loved being around the animals and being able to feed the alpacas and walking around the paddock with them. Lovely quiet area for a small family getaway.

With a private bathroom fitted with a bath and a hairdryer, some rooms at the resort also boast a lake view. Guest rooms in RidgeView are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a CD player. We felt very much at home with everything needed.

Château Elan at The Vintage Hunter Valley is a luxury golf and spa resort. It is a 2-hour drive from Sydney. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi. Cessnock Airport is a 5-minute drive. The property is home to a number of native kangaroos. Breakfast was superb, fantastic selection, well presented and friendly helpful staff.

Surrounded by picturesque vineyards and rugged mountain ranges, Rydges Resort Hunter Valley is 100-acre resort, boasting the only water splash park with slide in Hunter Valley, 2 restaurants and 2 bars. Leisure facilities include tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, day spa, kids club and an 18-hole golf course. The resort has a very nice heated pool, good food, rooms big enough, comfy beds. Well maintained and a nice shop.

Located in Cessnock, Potters Apartments offers well-appointed rooms and suites just 2 hours’ drive from Sydney. The resort boasts 2 swimming pools.

It is possible to take the daily tour of the 40-years-old vineyards and experience wine tasting. It was delicious. Good service
