Set in Al Raka, Desert Gate Resort provides a garden. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Amazing ‘camp’ - it has only been opened 3 months so the property was in pristine condition. The bubble tents were pure luxury- with even a bath tub in it and the beds were ultra comfortable. The food was the best we have had in Oman so far so would really recommend paying the extra for dinner. The staff were lovely too.

Vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options can also be requested. From start to finish it was an amazing experience. The camp is nestled in the dunes far away from any other camps, which gives you an extra special feeling - far away from civilization. The tents are adorable, the linen and bedding is high quality. The beds are very comfortable. The food was delicious, which many different starters and mains. The service was impeccable. RD is so kind and welcoming, he can read your mind and knows what you want before you know what you want. To end the night, we sat at the bonfire, ate marshmallows and gazed at the stars. If you are looking for a luxurious, yet authentic experience in the desert, this is it!!

The oasis chalet is located in Bidiyah. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a garden, as well as a hot tub. The accommodation provides room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests.

The units feature a wardrobe. A really nice resort in the desert. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. The pool is great for refreshing dip. We drove there ourselves, it is not hard to find or drive through the desert, the only thing is you have to know how much to deflate the tires. It is useful to have a portable air compressor.

All accommodations are either chalets or tents. The simple furnished accommodations feature carpeted floors and a seating area. The sunset and sunrise there are just exceptionnel ! The staff is kind and very helpful, the food is also great.

It's a perfect place for someone like me who loves nature but equally loves comfort and is not ready to sleep in a real tent in the desert. The resort is not far from the town, which is great if you need a doctor, for example. If you don't have a 4-wheeler, you can pay for a pick up to be arranged from the nearest petrol station to the resort. We enjoyed our stay because the staff were outstanding, very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were amazing. The place is beautiful and quiet at night, so we appreciated the getaway from Muscat. The villa was clean and cozy, but some tiny things (lamp shade, showerhead) needed replacement.
