Very hospitable staff and a cosy atmosphere. Good parking and great food. I enjoyed the beer too. The hotel is right in the middle of the main pedestrian and restaurant area. I would have no hesitation recommending a stay here!

The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of the old town, just a short walk from Melk Abbey, restaurants, and all the main attractions. It made exploring the area effortless and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the room itself—it was exceptionally large and spacious, far more generous than I expected. It even had a full-size bath, which was a wonderful bonus after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Handmade, original design, cozy cottage. Beautiful room, lovely location. There is a wonderful sauna inside and towels and deckchairs and all amenities needed. We were moved to the sister hotel which was a great location right opposite where the ships stop. Frau Pichler is very welcoming and fun, the restaurant has a lovely garden area, staff is great, we borrowed e-bikes from the hotel, the room was nice, breakfast was nice, the whole package was just perfect
