Everything was exceptional. I would recommend this hotel as a true example of what first class service looks like. The photos, as great at they are, don’t do justice to how beautiful, well maintained and clean the hotel was. The service and attention to detail are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The check in was a great experience as the hotel is family owned and the front desk is run by a family member that made us very welcome and was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The hotel had been renovated so the rooms and especially the bathrooms are modern, of high quality and comfortable including ACs for climate control. The included breakfast was great and had everything you'd expect in addition to a delicious Birchermüssli. The hotel also has a stunning outdoor eating area. Within a 3 minute walk you're at a public lake swimming area and within 15 at the ascona old town.
