Romantic Hotels in Manuel Antonio

the studio appartement was fully equipped, clean and beautifully decorated! The bus stop is right outside the property which takes you to the National park and the beaches. There are also several restaurants in walking distance so the location is perfect if you don’t have a car. The pool are is small but we enjoyed a few hours each day and it was perfect for us.

The whole environment was simply fabulous! The room, our terrace, the pools, the service and the food... everything was just perfect. Even nature was on our side with a sloth on the premises and a whale jumping in the distance.!! Walking around can be a challenge due to steep walk ways. But the Hotel is offering internal transport services.

The hotel and the antiques and paintings, the scenery, the pool. The staff is very nice. There is a trail very well preserved and not dangerous, the Monkey Trail. That's a bonus. The golf car to the Biesanz Beach is other bonus! CONGRATULATIONS to the owners and staff!!

Large rooms with fantastic views over the jungle-like garden. Super friendly staff. Lovely to sit in the pool and actually observe sloths in the trees above! Enjoyed the breakfast too. Highly recommended.

The staff at El Faro was so friendly and welcoming. They were quick to respond via WhatsApp with recommendations and answer questions. Reviews helped me book this place, so I’d like to include that I’m glad I chose a high level room for the view.

We really liked the Hotel Villa Prats in Manuel Antonio and had a great 3 night stay here. We got a room upgrade on arrival to a room with a balcony. The room was large, had a double bed and a single bed and our double bed was very comfortable. In addition, the room had a fridge, a counter with two stools, a wardrobe, fans and air conditioning. There was also a sofa, but it was very soft. The balcony was relatively large and there was a bench to sit on with a view of the pool and Manuel Antonio National Park behind it. The bathroom was also fine for us and clean. The furnishings were not modern, but functional and absolutely okay for our purposes, so we felt comfortable. There is a fairly large pool in the courtyard with loungers and a shower to rinse off in. Since we spent our time either at the beach or in the national park, we didn't use it. There is some parking in front of the hotel. The internet always worked well for us. We twice got a free breakfast in the restaurant diagonally opposite, which was very tasty and you could choose what you wanted to eat (e.g. fruit plate, omelette or scrambled eggs). Only on Tuesday there was no breakfast, because the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays as well as the Manuel Antonio National Park and some other restaurants. The location was ideal for us. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Playa Espadilla beach and only a few steps from the National Park. Since we wanted to use both, it was perfect for us. You could walk to the beach in the morning, then back to the hotel and a short walk back to the beach for sunset. Here we were very flexible and very happy with it. The host was super friendly and helpful. On the last day, we were also allowed to do a late check out. That was great because we could spend a few more hours on the beach. We can highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The pool area is fantastic, a really nice atmosphere and the bar is perfect, as are the pizzas and Happy Hour cocktails. The bar is closed on Mondays though, as we were told at check in, but there’s a restaurant nearby where you can have dinner and you get a voucher from the hotel for a free cocktail / bottle of wine (surprisingly good) / dessert. The room has everything you need and is well maintained. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much. They booked our national park tickets for us on arrival, gave us early check in, supplied endless pool towels and always had a smile. no laundry service but there is a laundry 50m away. The proximity to the NP, beach and shops and restaurants is fantastic. We didn’t use our car for the entirety of our 3 night stay. Wildlife spotted either at the hotel or v close by (frogs, monkeys, toucans, parrots, iguanas, caiman). Would def stay again when in Manuel Antonio.

Everything. The perfect place for vacation

Hotel is ideally situated between manuel Antonio and Quepos. Very clean, very pretty with all of the trees and plants everywhere. We had room number 303 which was in front of the main pool. Restaurant was very good. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a games room with a snooker table.
