The apartment was amazing with an incredible view overlooking the forest. The hotel was located very close to the main section of town - we chose to mostly walk, however taxis were available if needed. The food was very nice, both breakfast and dinner. The host and staff at the hotel were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again. - Luke and Mary

Though I originally booked the "Deluxe Suite with Spa Bath" online, I didn't realize that - though beautiful - it wasn't situated directly along the river. But upon checking in, when I gently questioned the location of the suite - without a moment's hesitation, the staff immediately led me to the (even more stunning) upgraded "Superior Suite" - likewise with a private jacuzzi directly above the gurgling river - at no extra charge. Without question, among the most magical accommodations in my (40+ years/50+ countries) of solo travels! Everything about Saguamby is of the highest quality, and the staff - ever attentive and helpful. Utterly tranquil, close to town, and strong wifi. Plus... a most bountiful and delicious breakfast each morning served within a few feet of that glorious river. Thanks to All at Saguamby for making my visit to Mindo so very memorable!

The family-run Cabañas Armonía y Jardín de Orquídeas is located in the El Progreso neighbourhood, 2 blocks from Mindo's main street.

The staff was super friendly, and the location is great. It has a beautiful garden, plant setting, and flowers with many birds visiting. the room was super clean and comfortable with amenities, surrounded by trees. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, and I can highly recommend it.

WOW!!! Absolutely loved this place! We had a 2 floor suite (#8) with breathtaking views of the mountains and a jacuzzi on the patio to soak in after our hikes and early morning bird watching. Delicious breakfast included- with local specialties, eggs to order, fruit and pastries. Fresh juice and coffee! Restaurant had lots of selection to choose from (but we mostly ate in town). Town was about a 10 minute walk away.

The owner were lovely and helped with all our questions. Its such a nice relaxing place.

A swimming pool and a hot tub can be enjoyed right in the Mindo hills, 96 km off Quito. There are charming wooden walkways through the forest. Guests are greeted with free drinks.
