The location of the guest house, was great, not too far from station and not too far from the city centre. Great transport links both ways and also loads of walking paths to take around

The hotel was fantastic, great location only a short walk into Bowness or 15 min to Windermere. Great breakfast , plentiful and best quality., takeaway coffee was a nice addition. Staff were awesome and friendly . Comfortable bed and clean rooms

Fabulous hotel and wonderful well kept grounds and gardens. Large modern room with a view looking over the lake and gardens. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. modern with bath and walk in shower. Excellent breakfast and super dog friendly.

Wonderful rooms with spectacular views, couldn't ask for more. We were a group of friends meeting after 3 long years and this place was the perfect spot for us to spend time together. The staff were great and the breakfast was good (personally I would prefer a Lil more food on my plate), also tried this weird combo of toast with butter and honey (which was surprisingly tasty 😋). Overall it was a great place for vacation.
