Very lovely and cozy, nice staff, good breakfast and well insulated rooms (especially as they are above a bar). The shower was powerful and hot in the best way! Loved the window seat and the cute skew window that gave the room that old-timey feel.

It has a lovely historic charm about it, cobbled floor, roaring fire. Our room in the stable block had a feel of Cotswold luxury about it, it was warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to make our one night stay special (a particular mention for the waiting staff, Imogen and Kate). The evening meal was delicious. No breakfast buffet but cooked to order. It is a special find and one we shall return to.

Room was fabulous, great size, comfortable and lots of little thoughtful touches for our comfort and enjoyment. We had 3 schnauzers and they put us in the garden room. So lovely. We had the best 2 nights away before Christmas activities started. A well needed relaxation. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, excellent service. Loved every second, would highly recommend. Great location too.

Beautiful hotel in gorgeous grounds. Warm and friendly staff made the stay comfortable and the room had so much character. Lovely bar area and many cosy nooks to relax in. The conservatory was a wonderful place to eat/drink in and the breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice.
