Booked the stay quite last minute as it seemed a really good deal to miss. Once I arrived, I discovered the place was amazing. From the very first interaction with the lady at the reception that was helpful with my inquiries to the staff that was kind. To be honest, I loved how clean it was, well kept and so close to the beach/pier. Couldn't recommend it more!

The Chudleigh is located close to Clacton-on-Sea's pier, seafront and shopping centre.

There was a friendly greeting and property is very welcoming. The breakfast was good and the menu extensive so lots of choice. The rooms had everything you could possibly want or need.

The location is amazing as it’s easy to reach by train, and as soon as you reach the location you’re immersed into nature and can’t hear any city noises. Spa is Basic but well maintained and they offer a lot of extra services, can get a bit busy and people are not always respectful to behave spa-like, but time it right during the day and you can have an amazing relaxing experience.

This property is on the Tendring Peninsula, situated on the coastal road, providing cliff top views.The property features a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi is available throughout.

We stayed at Kingscliff hotel for a holiday with 7-month old twins. The family room was cosy, clean and spacious: we had a double bed, two single beds and two cots and we managed to place our rocking chairs and a playmat in between. We appreciated that we were given a room on the ground floor and there was no need for us to carry our babies up and down the stairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Each day we needed to warm baby milk and sterilise bottles in a microwave, and all our requests were accommodated promptly. The breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant was always delicious, with wide choice. In the restaurant, we were also provided with convenient high chairs for the babies.

Situated 49 km from Freeport Braintree, The Rose and Crown offers 3-star accommodation in Thorpe le Soken and has a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! They upgraded our stay which was amazing! The hotel it’s self is beautiful and clean. The food was to dye for! Location is perfect, just right on the outskirts of town and right next to Colchester castle.
