We got a beautiful and comfortable family room on the ground floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with large variety of flakes, English breakfast, toasts with yummy jams and fruits. The hotel is just right at the bus stop Holloway Road for the bus from/to Cheltenham and Oxford, and only a few minutes walk from the Market square. We loved this place.

The Blue Boar is a former coaching inn that sits on Witney’s market square. It offers a restaurant serving homemade food and rooms with baths and showers.

We loved everything and particularly liked the friendly service from Emily both on check in and later in the bar. The room was lovely and we really enjoyed dinner snd breakfast. It was good to have so many vegetarian choices .

A really beautiful hotel in Oxfordshire. Great connection to Oxford and to the Cotswolds. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were here to help our son move from Oxford/Cumnor and have stayed at the Bear & Ragged Staff many times, and will come back even if our son is no longer in the area. Cumnor is a charming village and you get both the Cotswolds and Oxford at the same time. The Bear & the Ragged Staff has a lot of local charm while still serving fantastic food and the staff is not ragged at all (pun intended).

Lovely comfortable accommodation with every convenience in the heart of Burford. I was in the end room no 3 at the back , very quiet overlooking courtyard. Couldn’t find any fault . Will definitely be back! Happy Christmas!
