the host is really nice, although they don’t understand English well but they treat us nicely like we are family. they knows we are going to a long walk during visiting monasteries they pack us buns. They saw us having dinner at room, they serve some toast to us as well. also the view from the room and the restaurant, I have to said it was stunning! breakfast is also a plus, all and all during my stays makes me feel at home.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Our hosts gave us a room with a wonderful view, everything was so clean, the bed was very, very comfortable, the bathroom was really nice! Definitely, we recommend this place and we will come back there for sure!

It was cozy place to be like home away from home. All were so considerate and informative. And everyone in our group were talking about Georgia how she had treated all the guest. She definitely was the asset for the hotel. We highly recommend this place.

I really loved this place. I visited in winter, and I arrived to a super cosy and warm room, super comfy bed & bedding (best sleep ever), coffee & biscuits. Lovely! Location is super close to monasteries, with the first one being a 5 min walk away. Best of all, George at reception was very friendly, kind and helpful. He even made a fresh pot coffee when I returned from the monasteries to pick up my bag, checked for bus tickets and provided helpful advice. I had wanted to stay another night, but alas they were booked out till Jan 2033!

Hotel Kosta Famissi is situated in Kalambaka’s entrance, only 1 km from Meteora and the monasteries. It offers classic rooms, most with stunning views of the rocks.

A fabulous place to stay in a lovely quiet location.Great views of Meteora and a 5minute walk to Kastraki.The family that own the property were so friendly, attentive and helpful.They booked a tour of the monasteries and let me check in early when I arrived off the train from Athens. Lovely selection of food for breakfast, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice every morning.I would definitely return here.

The place was very roomy for 5 of us. We slept comfortably in our own bed. The girls shared a double as did my wife and I and our son had his own bed. The shower was like the ones we have back home the water doesn't go all over the floor of the whole bathroom we really liked. The location was perfect for us to visit the monestaries and also walking distance to the centre for dinner.
