We stayed here on our road trip and really loved our time. It's close to some beautiful sights and has cozy rooms. The restaurant is delicious. Would highlight recommend others stopping here as well :)

Hotel updated our bungalows to room in hotel for free. Rooms were spacious, clean, with good bath in bathroom. Hotel located near the first road, so you can easily find it. Maxi (on the reception) was extremely nice. Breakfast includes omelet, toasts, sossages, skir, youghurt, musli, eggs, cheese. Price can be a bit high fo Iceland in general, but for this region price is reasonable.

Situated off the Route 1 highway, Fosshotel Nupar offers panoramic views of Vatnajokull’s lava fields, mountains and glaciers. Skaftafell National Park is 45 km away.

Big room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, all rooms have incredible views of the otherworldly lava fields and the glacier, the hotel looks like a lunar base.

Such a magical cottage. A very peaceful location, quiet, all together 3 or 4 cottages around, other quests quiet too. Cottage has a nice terrace, interior was warm, tidy, lots of wood, so welcoming. Kitchen, all was perfect. The best accomodation among 10 different that we had during our 14 days trip around Iceland. Thank you Heiða and Bjössi!
