We’ve enjoy the atmosphere and hospitality! Onsen and public bath experience was definitely something new! The hotel’s atmosphere, simple restaurant that service meals after 20.00 and a bar with karaoke were also a nice cherry on top. And having beautiful local garments at the room to be able to wear those in the hotel was another lovely surprise

Izumi-so was my first Ryokan experience and couldn't recommend it more, the host was lovely, kind and accommodating. My room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious; the open air onsen was also lovely at night! Great location, about a 1-2 minute walk from the center of Gero. 10/10

Staffs are friendly and helpful. I love the onsen where I can go as many times as I want.

Everything are great in this ryokan. We just simply love everything on this ryokan, the onsen, the meal served and most importantly the tatami futon is so comfortable to sleep in.

The location of the hotel is perfect in this little town. The Onsen area are very clean and perfect to relax after the day. But the best part here were the food! We wrote the hotel just one day before we arrive if it's possible to create vegetarian meals for us. And they did a perfect job! We got the best meals we had in whole Japan and this also super spontaneously. Thanks to the whole team!
