Honestly one of the best places I've stayed in my whole trip. Very beautiful place with delicious breakfast. The owner was incredibly nice. He took me to Pindurangala rock early in the morning, arranged my Jeep safari tour and even took me to bus station at my departure. Would defenetly 100% recommend. The best place.

It was a cosy house amidst their lush garden. The rooms were clean and contained everything what we needed. We have had a lovely stay here. The host family is very kind, friendly and they prepared us a fantastic breakfast every day. It was very helpful that they recommended us a fantastic safari-guide.

Incredible location right in the middle of lion rock and Pidurangala, climbed both Pidurangala at sunset and Lion rock in early morning. The host was gorgeous, such a beautiful lady who looked after us like we were her family. Her cooking is fantastic especially the breakfasts

The owner Dinesh was super friendly and helpful with us the whole stay. His family is awesome and they made our stay there just perfect! Dinesh arranged us the most perfect jeep safari with his friend. What made this special is the fact they both are passionate about nature and animals. Their knowledge is absolutely amazing and we had such cool chats with both of them. They didn't just care about making money out of tourist, they truly cared about animals and their wellbeing. Rare, but extremely nice. Definitely going back there some day!

Great place to stay at Sigirya. You are in a very calm area, in front of the Lion's rock and next to a beautiful lake. One room is with air con and has a great view. We highly recommend.

It was in 1 word fantastic..The family is so nice! I was invited for a big Party with all of the familie.. the best night of my holiday!! I had the AC room in the house..it felt like I was in a villa. Breakfast is lovely..and with the view of the river a great place to start the day. I loved my walk to town or the ride with the tuktuk. Close to Lion Rock Room is big, beautiful bed, warm shower. The threehouses looked lovely! And please take a swim in the river!

I had a great stay at the Sigiri Roar. The family was so kind and welcoming. The room was great, as was the breakfast each morning, it filled you up for a day out exploring the area. The family was always there to answer any questions I had and arranged tuk tuks

Staying at Kuwera Eco Lodge was amazing - the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The Sri Lankan curry night was one of the best we had on our trip and being surrounded by nature we saw many different types of birds, monkeys and squirrels whilst just sitting at breakfast. The room was fantastic with really comfortable beds and the pool was amazing to cool off after a day of hiking. While the hotel is a *little* out of town this really didn't impact our stay at all - everything is about a 10 minute TuKTuk ride away and the staff always helped organise us lifts to the restaurants or attractions nearby. Can highly recommend Kuwera Eco Lodge to anyone visiting Sigirya!
