The personnel of the hotel was great. They were helpful and there was even a shuttle to the aeroprt which was exactly on the time I have requested. The welcome was exceptional too. The reception stuff were waiting for me and the room was ready even before the check-in. Some Tunisian traditional sweets were brought to my room upon arrival.

Exceptional Stay at Carthage Thalasso Resort in Gammarth We recently stayed at the Carthage Thalasso Resort in Tunis (Gammarth), and it was an unforgettable 5-star experience. The customer service was exceptional, with staff who were attentive, always kind, and genuinely caring. Their warm attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. The housekeeping team ensured that everything was spotless, with both day and night service to make sure we never lacked anything. Every corner of the hotel was immaculate. The quality of the food was equally impressive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of international and local flavors, from delicious chocolate crepes to traditional bread galettes—everything was a true delight. This hotel is ideal for a family stay. Traveling with three children, we especially appreciated the hotel's excellent facilities, which were easy to access. Whether it was the seawater pool, the kids’ pool with water slides, or the private beach just 50 meters away, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The location is also perfect—only 10 minutes by car from La Marsa and 20 minutes from Sidi Bou Said. A special thank you to Wassim and Adam for always taking such good care of the kids, and to Mohamed, the reception manager, for ensuring everything ran smoothly. We highly recommend Carthage Thalasso Resort and look forward to our next visit!

From the moment we reached the hotel (the host welcomed us outside) until we left (waited with us for the taxi), our time at the hotel was exceptional. The house is beautiful, with many fascinating art displayed, and it is a joy to stroll around. The rooms are spacy, well-equipped, and meticulously clean. Our view over the city was fantastic (we got the room on the top floor). Breakfast is tasty, they offer a variety of pastries and fruits, as well as daily varying other small desserts (cakes, cremes, everything homemade!). The host and the staff are very kind and happy to share their knowledge about the city and the surroundings. We stayed at different hotels throughout the Tunis region; this was the best we had!

Great location in main boulevard . Hotel looks recently renovated, every modern , new in an old building. Good breakfast buffet. Reasonable priced shuttle to airport compared to bolt.

Nice location, there are a few small shops near the hostel selling water and sandwiches, wraps ect. The jam and cream cheese and halwa sandwich just down the street was amazing, as were some wraps from a nice lady, and oaja from a store with bowls out front. Fun place to stay and explore the Medina. 35 minute walk down through the Medina to Bab al Bahr and down the main ave to the bus and train terminal Tunis Bahria. 1 dinar for a train of bus to Sidi Bou Saed or La Marsa. Great way to spend the day. Nice staff here and very friendly. Breakfast is very nice, as is the roof patio. Just outside the Medina there there is a bit busier street with fast food restaurants open until later. Above the medina the Qasr al Baladia is a nice place to watch the sun go down
