Herods Boutique Eilat a Premium collection by Fattal Hotels is a 5-star superior hotel located at the end of Eilat's promenade, on the shores of the Red Sea. We stayed for about 3 days here, and we really enjoyed the place and its savory and tasty foods; it's home to us. They have the most amazing staff: kind and friendly. The place is so tidy, with everything in its place. We want to thank Shirley for being so good to us and letting us experience the majestic beauty of Herods Palace. She really has a good soul. Set in the heart of the Negev Desert, this property is in the town of Miẕpe Ramon, overlooking the west hills of the desert. Desert Home offers a 39°C hot tub in its garden and self catering units.

All units at Desert Home are air conditioned. Some have a traditional south Israeli design with wood floors and a cosy fireplace. Each one comes with free WiFi and an LCD TV with DVD player and satellite channels. You will also find a furnished balcony with a view of the desert. Desert Home was simply stunning. I stayed there with my mum and we had a little studio with a seperate bedroom and a sleeping couch in the living area. The big balcony facing the desert is so lovely and there is sun all afternoon till sunset. The room is beautifuly decorated and well equipped and you can tell that the owner put a lot of effort and thought in that. We didn't have any other accomodation on this level of quality on our trip through Israel. One of the owners welcomed us personally. He was very kind and offered us his help with any questions about the place and also the region. If you stay there on a Shabbat make sure you order some Jachnun (traditional jemeinite breakfast) at "Jachnun Chofshit" nearby (order in advance!). They deliver it to your door in an old VW beetle.

If you like camels or one or more of your children like them, this is a great place for you o feed, pet and even ride them. You have an option of sleeping in a Bedouin tent, a hut or even a comfortable modern room. Some guests brought their own popup tents and set them inside the Bedouin tent, to get max privacy and protection from the elements. The oasis is about 20 minutes easy drive from Masada-west, where you can watch the audio-visual show after nightfall.

It features an Arabesque pool area and a large spa. Everything. Especially, Rinat, The shift manager, who showed excellent servicability and kindness. All the staff members were very nice and hekpful, but Rinat especially, was above them all.
