A unique place in Sigiriya, managed by lovely people! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. We got a welcome drink during check in, could get in our rooms a bit earlier than check in time, and the breakfast was amazing. Every morning it was a joy to go to breakfast and try typical Sri Lankan dishes. The hotel is a bit further (10 min walk) from the restaurants, it’s a walk on a dark street, but gives you the beauty of the seeing the stars. Or you can take a tuk tuk :-) Would come back at any time!

A baby safety gate is also available at Sigiri Saman Home Stay, while guests can also relax in the garden. Lovely staff. It’s a family that runs this place. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. The place is a little off the main road and Saman and his son always helped us with getting around. They also helped us with booking all the tours, taxis and tuktuk drivers. The room was very clean, with A/c. Very nice breakfast with great view to their lovely green garden.

Pool was great! There is a lake also at the property. Management was helpful and friendly. Amazing safari was also arranged by them. Food at property is also great!

The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. It was a cosy house amidst their lush garden. The rooms were clean and contained everything what we needed. We have had a lovely stay here. The host family is very kind, friendly and they prepared us a fantastic breakfast every day. It was very helpful that they recommended us a fantastic safari-guide.

Thal Sewana being more closer to the wilderness promises your stay memorable and much more relaxing…. I enjoyed staying in this guest house so much. It's just 3 minutes of walking distance to Pidurangala rock, which has a perfect views of Lion's rock Sigirya and approx.10 minutes of nice walk from Sigirya main entrance. The guest house lady is very kind, friendly, honest, and cooks really well 🙂 She welcomed me with a glass of fresh juice and provided me with a lot of interesting informations about surrounding. Arranged a tuk tuk ride for me early in the morning. I can't describe how perfect it was. I must recommend this place to anyone. When I go to Sri Lanka next time, Thal Sewana is a must stay place.

Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also has a family-friendly restaurant and an outdoor fireplace. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. The owner is the most lovely man who gave us so much great advise and helped us with all things (even cleaning our tuktuk after monkeys made a mess in there). Him and his family made us feel extremely welcome and we were sad we only spent 1 day there. We also got lots of good tips on how to make the best of our short stay. The rooms are comfy and cute with a nice balcony to enjoy the property's garden. The breakfast was delicious. They made so much food!! Although unofficial, there was some space outside the gate to park our tuktuk.

A patio with mountain views is offered in all units. Honestly can't recommend Sigiriya Lake Paradise enough! Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
