The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. The cabin was clean, spacious and comfortable with nice views. The location was great too, two restaurants within walking distance, Reine and grocery store several minutes drive away.

Svinøya Rorbuer provides tea/coffee facilities, a fridge and stove with oven. Some of the cottages and apartments also include a fireplace, balcony and private sauna. The stuff was extremely kind and helpful! The location was amazing and our apartment beautiful and convenient! We will come again for sure.

Situated in central Storvågan, Nyvågar offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and 2-floor apartments in traditional Norwegian fishermen’s cottages. All include a balcony or terrace. The Lofot Aquarium is a 3-minute walk away. We stayed in a two-bedroom cottage with sea view for 2 nights in mid Sept 24. The cabin was cozy with lots of space to cook and relax. Despite the autumn storm and rain, the view from the room was amazing. The breakfast was good with an incredible selection of food. As we have to leave very early the next morning, the manager was so kind to pack some breakfast boxes for us the night before. We strongly recommend to everyone.

The lodges share a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a TV and a wood burning stove. There is a large terrace facing the sea. Guests can choose to rent a Deluxe Lodge featuring a private entrance and shared bathroom facilities. An other choice is to rent a the whole Luxury lodge, or a guestroom with a private bathroom in this lodge. Guestrooms in the Luxury lodge share the kitchen facilities. Towels and bed linen are provided. On the lofoten, the best place to stay for sure. It's located at the very end of Laven. Nearby a golf course and nearby the starting point of a hike (Hoven 368m) We had the entire house. It was too big for us but we enjoyed all the views from this glass house. The kitchen was spacious, but be careful to bring all your food along since the nearest supermarket is very far away. You can buy baguettes at the local golfclub or nearest and only restaurant nearby is Låven. All rooms were very nice and the bathroom as well. They had a nice outdoor sofa and a big balcony facing the sea. Nice for walking and just relaxing. Peaceful.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. The staff was really kind, the breakfast was really good, you can see husky and sheeps, and the deluxe suite was really amazing - best value place of this trip
