It is situated 400 metres from Patan Durbar Square and provides luggage storage space. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. The property and staff were absolutely lovely and the bed super comfortable. We recommend highly to go there and look forward to come back☺️

Excellent service by Mr. Prabin at front desk. Very helpful. Good English. Complimentary upgrade done on request to a bigger room. AC and hot water working well. Very clean. Quiet.  Good buffet breakfast for USD 5 - juice, fruits, cereal, sausages, hash brown, baked beans, pancake,  croissants, Danish etc. Tea coffee too. Eggs need to pay extra.

Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. The rooms have a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. We are a couple from Turkey and stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel during our trip to Nepal, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, smiling and willing to help with anything we needed, from airport pickup to recommending nice restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We stayed in a higher floor room, and the view over the city and the mountains in the distance was beautiful. The location is ideal, right in Thamel but slightly off the main road, so it is peaceful and quiet at night. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Kathmandu was a perfect destination, and Apsara Boutique Hotel made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend it to our friends visiting Nepal.

Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of the property. The Peacock Guesthouse is a most charming, heritage-rich, and truly special oasis in beautiful Bhaktapur. The staff are welcoming and kind. Their restaurant serves exquisite food. We dined at “home” each evening. We loved observing the colourful life in Dattatreya Square from our window perch. The breakfast is glorious. We savoured every moment of our time in this delightful gem.

A special thank you to Adyut Neupane in the restaurant, whose service was above and beyond—attentive, thoughtful, and always had a touch of welcome and warm. We also want to recognize Ram Gajurel, one of the managers, who personally ensured we were well looked after. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was the daily yoga sessions offered at the hotel. Practicing yoga in such a serene and sacred setting felt like reconnecting to our roots—truly grounding and revitalizing. We are deeply grateful for the experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious, soulful, and culturally rich stay in Kathmandu. The hotel made our 15-year anniversary truly unforgettable with exceptional service, attention to detail, and a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. Very nice hotel with a cosy and beautiful courtyard. Quiet, comfortable and finely furnished rooms. The breakfast service is excellent. The staff are ready to ensure customer's comfort and meet any requirements in the best way possible. This structure also offers spa services managed by kind and professional staff. Shambaling hotel is super recommended!

Really beautiful location! Very fancy! Very quiet! Probably one of the best places I stayed during my 2-3months in Nepal. Breakfast is at this gorgeous restaurant next door. If you are there on Saturdays there this really cute farmers market. At night there is a guard out so it feels very secure
